Avoid this restaurant at all costs.
This is your standard tourist trap in Rio with below average food and above average crowding. They get a lot of business from tour operators so it gives the illusion of an in demand place but you will see very few locals here for good reason.
Went to this restaurant with a group of friends based on other reviews. The salad bar was average, ingredients weren’t fresh and of quality great, the meat was decidedly average. - dry, tasteless and just ... well, average which is pretty poor for a churrascaria. The best bit though was the service. I think the staff must have been having a competiition to see who could be the rudest, not just to us but also to two girls at the next table. Everyone just stalked around scowling - it´s only a restaurant, lighten up a bit ! When I asked for the wine list, one of the waiters plonked down a bottle on the table at the same time as the list without saying anything. It happened to be the most expensive on the menu, maybe he throught we couldn´t read. At the end, we asked for the bill & the guy virtually threw it on the table and walked away without saying a word. It was just laughable. Poor food, joke service, no atmosphere, not much to recommend really.
Avoid this place like the plague. If your tour group stops here, be sure to also visit a better steakhouse that locals frequent to get a more authentic Brazilian experience with much...

If you want no more food you just turn the sticker to indicate that you are full. There is a variety of meats. From beef , pork, chicken etc. Great variety. Very well prepared and taste absolutely delicious. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Service is fast and efficient. You don't wait for a waiter to assist. While you eat the meat just keep on coming. Restaurant is also very clean and neat. The price is also very good. Not too Expensive. Restaurant is intimate and great for family lunches...drinks are also available. Ideally situated near the ipanema and Copacabana praia or beach strip...book a Rio by day tour and the food is included at this restaurant. The restaurant is also good for group bookings. Food is fresh, scrumptious with a menu that suits the South American, European and African taste...halaal option are also available... desert is available and their Ice-cream is a must eat to cleanse any palate...this restaurant is highly recommended...where you eat till you drop and service is done by waiters in...
Read moreI rarely leave reviews, but this experience was so bad that I felt compelled to share. I was told the wait would be 10–15 minutes, which was accurate. Once I was seated, someone brought me water—but my actual server never showed up again.
I understand it’s a busy restaurant, and I’m a solo traveler, so I don’t expect red-carpet treatment. But this went beyond neglect—it was clear they prioritize larger groups and barely acknowledge solo diners. To make matters worse, they asked me to move seats in the middle of my meal just so they could combine my table with the one next to me after those guests left. Incredibly disrespectful.
The food itself was just as disappointing. The chefs walk around with skewers of meat but don’t tell you what they’re serving. It’s a guessing game, and unfortunately, most of it tasted terrible. There were also flies all over the hot bar—completely unhygienic.
To top it off, it feels like they try to push people out quickly by dumping more food on your plate than you actually asked for.
If you're an American traveler—or really, anyone who cares about service, food quality, or basic respect—avoid this place. Save your time, energy,...
