Tokyo in the heart of Copacabana..
This was the highlight of my culinary experience in Rio De Janiero.
Just a few meters from the main beach area.. this hidden gem is worth a visit..more than once in my opinion.
The sushi and sashimi are as good or better than any I have tasted in Japan.
The menu as an incomparable choice especially with regard to seafood..all is extremely fresh and cut to perfection as if by a Japanese master chef.
The service by the waiter was way above my expectations..my sincere thanks and gratitude to him..unfortunately I didn't get his name.. though his attention to detail will not be forgotten.
The price is more than reasonable considering the quality of the seafood as well as the ambience and service.
Really this is a Japanese restaurant worthy of mention in Copacabana..
Looking forward to dining...

The staff are all very friendly but given that there is a 12% service charge inckuded in the price, it...

Gioza just don't taste like Gioza. The pasta is ok but inside is just mashed boiled meat dry and without herbs and flavour. The other dish could have been really good but was lost in an ocean of way to thick and sweat sauce that partly spoiled it. Creativity is ok if the experience worths it. Respect of taste balance is the condition for pleasure in the plate. For less money I prefer Aloha Sushi. More in thé spirit of "real"...
