We came here for a late-night pizza slice. As it was a rather famous pizza place we were hoping to find Rio’s best pizza. The slices are rather big. We paid our order at the payment desk (opposite to the bar, left from the main entrance) and then we could get our orders from the bar. We had some take-away slices as the seating area was all packed. The service was super friendly and quick. We had a caprese and a pepperoni/salame slice. The pizza is rather hefty and greasy, not a classical Napoli or Roman style pizza. The crust was filled with cheese as well and in the end it felt like a lot of cheese and bread. We liked the experience and it is great that they have 24h service. For a long night with booze it seems a perfect place to come by...

Love Stalos! It's a diner open 24/7, like Eclipse Restaurante a few blocks farther up Avenida Nossa Senhora de Copacabana, toward Ipanema. We found service to be somewhat slower at Stalos than at Eclipse. But one thing I really liked about this place is that they offer several soup selections daily, even during summer months. I checked with 5 other restaurants that had soup listed on their Internet menus. However, all of the other restaurants, except Stalos, informed me that they take soup off the menu during the hot Carioca summer months. So, if you are having some stomach or intestinal issues or just have a yen for a bowl of canja da galinha, the Brazilian equivalent of your mother's chicken & rice soup, you'll get your needs...

At the moment of arrival i asked if they had wifi, they said yes, everything was "ok" but when I asked for the wifi -i needed to work, my job is remote- they told me that i needed to wait because it wasn't available, i was like "what?" But accepted it right away since the guy told me that they'll will tell me in one second that he wasn't to go to my table. Guess what? Never heard of him again until my mother had to go again and ask -she also needed to do some work-related stuff- but they guy didn't knew how to respond so this lady told her "oh yeah, it's unavailable sorry" Long story short, never received the promised WiFi and if i did, was for 2 minutes because it mysteriously disappeared.

Never coming back...

This is a 24x7 place and many party goers will drop-by after partying into the late hours in a Sunday morning. I was there at about 6.30am in a Sunday morning and the crowd was noisy and rowdy but no drunkards around. They have pizzas, burgers and mains for food and a variety of drinks including hot beverages. Food was great in the sense that they are not salty like those few restaurants I been to in São Paulo and Rio over the last few days. Salt was provided in packets when the fries was served. Portion is still big to me. Must try their desserts though I cannot remember the names. Service staff was friendly and helpful though they do not speak much English. A nice place to catch up with friends over pizzas and fries.

It’s a regular Brazilian diner that is open 24/7 which comes in handy. The bakery looks nice. As usual if you don’t speak Portuguese they can’t help you. I even used google translate and pointed that i wanted an Açaí bowl with some toppings like strawberry and banana and whatever they offered but that I am extremely allergic to kiwi and that they should not use cutlery that has been in contact with kiwi. I wrote this in google translate and I still received a large glass of the açaí but no toppings or anything. It tastes good though, but they put sugar in it when I said no sugar many times. I think it is unusual for them to not put sugar in their foods.
