This cosy Italian restaurant in the heart of Ipenema which shares the same name with my husband and definitely left the best impressions! The most hospitable host ever, Bruno went above and beyond to make my husband's birthday celebration an amazing one. We went on Bruno's recommendations with the dishes and were not disappointed at all. The dishes were beautifully presented and all courses were absolutely delicious. It was rich in flavour and prepared with top quality ingredients. We were offered dessert on the house which was very tasty. We are from South Africa and are familiar with good quality meat and this was by far the best restaurant we ate at in Rio. Great wine bar! Really nice selection to taste by the glass and the menu has many different options. The size of the dishes is totally ok (smaller than most in Rio, but that's bigger than 99% of the world haha), you can have something to start, a main and a dessert without feeling that...

Chegamos ao local num sábado à noite, por volta das 21h e o restaurante estava vazio. Só tinham duas pessoas atendendo. A moça nos orientou a pegar uma mesa de 2 lugares no fundo do salão, mesmo tendo um milhão de mesas de 4 lugares vagas. Kkk até aí ok.

Sentamos e o atendente demorou 10 minutos para trazer somente 1 cardápio. Fizemos o pedido do vinho e da comida. O vinho demorou mais 10 minutos para chegar (sem absolutamente quase ninguém no restaurante) e mais 20 minutos para a comida. Pedi um filé mignon com molho funghi e batatas rústicas. Minhas batatas vieram mais secas que o deserto do Saara e o molho funghi inexistente. O ponto do filé mignon pedi ao ponto, mas o boi veio rugindo. Sinceramente!?
