Stepping into Botanicafe feels like entering a tropical greenhouse that decided to open a restaurant. Plants hang from the ceiling, crawl along the walls, and seem to be quietly judging your hydration habits. It is lush, vibrant, and alive in all the best ways.
The place is buzzing with life, and not just the botanical kind. It is clearly a local favorite, and for good reason. The menu is diverse enough to make any group happy. Whether you are into hearty brunches, light vegan bowls, or just want a dangerously good pastry with your oat milk cappuccino, they have got you covered.
The food is fresh and full of flavor, often topped with something green that may or may not have wandered in from the decor. Every dish looks like it has been prepared by someone who really cares about what you eat and also knows how to arrange leaves artistically.
Finding a seat can take a little patience, but once you are in, the jungle vibes and great atmosphere make it worth the wait. You might even forget you are in a café and start considering adopting a few hanging plants yourself.
Perfect for food lovers, plant enthusiasts, and anyone who enjoys pretending to work on a laptop while secretly...
Read moreWow! Brunch on Saturday, what a vibe! Such a gem in SP. This beautiful garden restaurant has 3 different areas to dine in. I was alone and sat at the bar right away, and was soaking the vibes. There was a line outside so plan to come a bit early.
Gabriel was the sweetest and patient as we’re figuring it out with my no Portuguese and his English. The menus are in English as well. They don’t sell sodas which already gives you a hint on the quality of food and the yummyness you’re about to experience in your mouth. So many choices I ended up getting a Benedict toast with pistachios to eat there and the kale salad to go so I can eat later on my flight. I kinda mixed their signature burrata toast with poached eggs (in the picture) it’s so yummy. Prices are great as well. They have a suggested tip included in the total, which you can add more to because their service is truly amazing.
Totally coming back for a longer brunch. Their staff is amazing. Vibe is amazing. And the food so yummy you can’t go wrong with your Saturday brunch date or group...
Read moreI finally tried this place after hearing so many good things, and it really lived up to the hype. The only downside was the service. I went alone and sat at the bar, which I didn’t mind, but I had to wave someone down just to get attention. I was completely ignored at first, and it was hard to even get a menu or place an order. The lady at the entrance told me to sit, but never informed anyone I was there, so I felt very unwelcome.
The food was really good, fresh, delicious, and full of flavor. The plates are a bit small, so I’ll probably order two dishes next time. One thing that left a bad taste was when I asked for a glass of water, pointing at the jug three times just like I saw locals getting, I was instead given a can of still water that I had to pay for. It made me feel excluded, especially since I had been clear about wanting a...
