Minas Secrets — Restaurant in Região Imediata de São Paulo

I used to love this place. On This particular occation I met some good friends there. I got there after they did. They already have oredered fried cheese balls which come with a lettuce garnish. It came right as I was walking in. I grabbed one cheese fried mozzarella ball and ot was frozen in the middle. I said something and they took it back. When it came back 5 minutes later my friend grabbed one and ate it. It was perfect, but then my friend noticed a small moving lump on the lettuce garnish. It was a snail...live and happy sliding thrpugh the leaf. We call the waiter and I asked...is the scargot included? To what the waiter look at the snail I pointed and took it with tje whole leaf to show it to the cheff. And appologized about it. We decided we were not gonna stay at the place. When the waiter came back and said to us: " that was not a snail, it was a bread crumble...the cheff took a look at it" to what my friend got really upset amd told him:" listen; we did not want to make any scene nor cause any trouble but; coming here to tell us that what the 3 of us saw leaving a trail of drull over the lettuce was not a snail it is a slap on our face. We are not stupud and we saw what it was. Now if the owner has any decency...she would habe come and appologice about it and we wouldnt have been more than happy..but sending yoy to do the dirty job was not appreciated. We paid for the beers and left. If you eat here...whatch for snail or any other dirty thung they hide about...

I went to Minas Secret and had a really good experience overall. The food was solid I ordered the Mexido de Minas and it was delicious. Definitely ask for their homemade pepper to mix in it adds a great touch and brings the dish to life.

For drinks, I tried the Caipirinha de Kiwi. I wasn’t a fan not sure if it was the fruit or maybe some salt in the mix, but I couldn’t finish it. I’ll need to try a different flavor next time to get a better feel for their cocktails.

O atendimento é razoável. Meu marido e eu fomos para jantar, em um sábado à noite, e o restaurante fecha à meia-noite. Chegamos por volta das 22h50min. O garçom nos disse que poderíamos entrar e jantar, tranquilamente. Pedimos dois pratos individuais e uma porção de pastel. O pastel de queijo veio com o queijo duro. O de carne seca era pura gordura. Os pratos individuais servem, a princípio, bem para duas pessoas. Enquanto jantávamos, começaram a limpar o salão conosco lá e mais um casal. Agiram como se não estivéssemos lá presentes. Chegaram a colocar o latão de lixo no salão!!! Ficamos sozinhos por vários minutos. O gerente voltou bocejando super alto e, quando saímos, sequer nos cumprimentou. Na verdade, sentimo-nos sendo expulsos. Assim que sentamos, mal abrimos o cardápio e já tinha um garçom colado nas nossas costas. Após ele sair, veio outro. Foi muito desconfortável. Pedimos um suco de maracujá com leite condensado que veio água pura. A comida era gordura pura e sem sabor. Pedimos uma quentinha que mal chegamos em casa já estava cheirando comida velha. O feijão que me foi servido, eu não comi, porque na hora percebi que estava azedo. Não teria nem como. A carne moída estava a pedaços grossos, empelotados. Apenas duas coisas salvaram: a costelinha e a banana à milanesa. Enfim, ao menos nesta oportunidade, que foi nossa primeira vez no local, não foi uma experiência agradável por qualquer ângulo que se observe. Saímos passando por cima dos tapetes aglomerados na porta de entrada/saída. Embora não tenha resultado uma conta cara, foi um dinheiro mal gasto.
