5L Speakeasy bar — Restaurant in Sofia City

This unique Bar truly exceeded my expectations! As a non-drinker, it can be challenging to feel comfortable in bars where the main focus is usually on alcohol. However, at 5L, the experience was refreshingly different. From the moment I walked in, the service was outstanding. The bartenders are not only incredibly professional but also made me feel welcome and entirely at ease, which is rare to find as a non-alcohol drinker. They never made me feel out of place or judged for my choice not to drink alcohol, which I really appreciated.

What really impressed me was the variety of non-alcoholic options available. They have a great selection of classic mocktails, but they also offer customized drinks based on your preferences. The bartenders are skilled and seem genuinely interested in crafting something special for everyone, regardless of whether it contains alcohol. I ended up trying a couple of unique mocktails that were absolutely delicious, each one tailored to my tastes.

Overall, the vibe at 5L Speakeasy Bar is inclusive and comfortable, making it a great spot for anyone, whether you drink or not. It’s refreshing to find a place that caters to all guests without compromising on quality or experience.

What a way to spend the night! Upon entering through what seems to be "just a basement door" you're not yet inside. I won't spoil anything, but it all adds to the atmosphere.

We didn't make a reservation, but the (awesome and polite) hostess kindly escorted us to a few stools at the bar, at what now is "ground floor". The appropriately dressed bartender immediately started talking and really knew how to set the mood. I've never seen a bartender work as fast and accurate as him. Hats off.

Halfway during the night the hostess came asking if we'd like different seating, or a different bar. We agreed and were seated in the basement, where the real party started. The music was louder here, and a total of three bartenders kept all the guests happy. A really classy gentleman with a grey beard served us fitting cocktails for whatever weird request we had, and when in doubt, consulted the other bartenders. Both of us were amazed at the skill of these men.

After drinking about 6 cocktails in total, we decided to get back to the apartment (obviously due to our request to keep making 'em stronger as the night went on...) and we didn't stop talking about this place until we fell asleep.

One of the greatest cocktail places I've ever been too!!! I enjoyed the mini mystery solving game before entering the place and once getting in, it's like entering an medival tavern with a hint of modern boujee-ness. The atmosphere inside provides a sense of complete mystery, as the interior is all dark. Once settled down on a table, by the staff members, that's when your life and your senses completely changes. Honestly, this is one of the greatest cocktail/drinking places I have been too in my life soo far. Everything from before entering the bar, to the drink prices, customer service and etc was phenomenal and outstanding. I don't want to say too much on this review, because I feel like to fully experience this place, you HAVE to want to go there yourself personally. DEFINITELY a place you...
