One of the best places to eat in Sofia, if you really like quality food, whether it is trying out something new or something traditional with a modern twist. Loved the short menu, with a few of the dishes based on local and seasonal products.

Everything we tasted was great, especially the savoury dishes. We had the stuffed bell pepper where the traditional rice filling was switched with other grains, kimchi and veggies. It was amazing!! And I really love the traditional version, but this was a total hit. The palamud (Bulgarian for bonito fish) entrée was very elegant and delicate and just delightful. And the duck hearts with their French sauce were loved even by the one who usually doesn't eat organ meat or dairy products.

The pop up concept seems great, we hope we will be back soon to try the new menus.

Service was very attentive, atmosphere was very relaxed and pleasant on a rainy day. They have a small garden as well which should be nice when weather is good. The waiter took her time to discuss with us the dishes, the wine and the concept of the restaurant, which we really enjoyed and it completes our overall very good experience there.

Totally recommended! Our pictures don't do it justice, but we were more focused on eating and...

We tried the brunch offerings at KOMAT and thoroughly enjoyed them. Every dish was clearly prepared with care and attention to detail — nothing we ordered felt bland or generic. On the contrary, everything had depth, balance, and a distinct character, which made the experience memorable. We were a group of three and ordered four dishes from the brunch menu, a glass of wine, a bottle of water, and three desserts. The total came to around €130, which felt a bit high given the overall quantity. Some of the pricing on simpler items stood out — for example, we had the hummus and tarama dips (both delicious), but they came with just one slice of bread, cut into three pieces. An additional slice was charged at €2, which seemed odd considering the essence of the dish. The dips themselves were priced around €10–12 each, and bottled water was €4. That said, the quality of the food and the thoughtful preparation made for a very enjoyable experience. A few pricing adjustments for the basics would make the value feel more in line with the excellent flavors and ambiance.
