Serdika, located at the heart of Sofia, Bulgaria, has a rich history dating back over 2,000 years. Originally a Thracian settlement, it flourished as a Roman city known as Serdica. Throughout the centuries, it witnessed the rise and fall of empires, including the Roman, Byzantine, and Ottoman. Today, Serdika remains a testament to its ancient past, with archaeological ruins, preserved landmarks, and a vibrant blend of modern life within its historic streets. Amidst Sofia's heart, I stroll with grace, In tulip blossom's vibrant embrace. A tapestry of colors, petals unfurled, Nature's masterpiece, a wonderous world. As I wander through each bustling street, The air is fragrant, pure and sweet. Tulips dance with the gentle breeze, Whispering secrets through the trees. Their vibrant hues, a joyful sight, A symphony of red, pink, and white. Each petal tells a story untold, Of beauty, resilience, and love untold. I walk amidst this floral sea, Where tulips bloom, setting hearts free. Their delicate presence, a feast for the eyes, A moment of bliss, beneath sunny skies. The city pulses with life and glee, As tulips sway, enchanting me. They nod their heads in silent cheer, Inviting dreams to draw near. I pause in awe, beneath their grace, Feeling serenity in this sacred space. Among the tulips, I find my peace, As their beauty grants my soul release. With each step I take, my spirit soars, In Sofia's heart, among tulips galore. Their splendor weaves a tale divine, As I walk through this blossoming shrine. Oh, tulips of Sofia, in full bloom, You bring life to the city's gloom. In your presence, I find delight, As we dance together, day and night. I cherish this season, pure and bright, When tulips paint Sofia with sheer delight. In this enchanting realm, I find my flow, Walking amidst tulips, my heart aglow.
