One of my favorite restaurants in Sofia is this one. I guess this restaurant chain is one of the most popular in Bulgaria. The restaurant has almost everything, except parking. There is always a crowd in the restaurant. At the entrance, a hostess greets you and asks you how many people you need a place for, and then if there is free table, she places you at the table. There is a section for smokers and non-smokers. When you sit down, they bring you 3 separate menus, one for drinks, one for general food and one for sushi. Last time I was here, the food was brought to me in 10 minutes, and now in 30 minutes, and the restaurant was also full. I don't know why that is. Last time, 4 years ago, when the waitresses brought the menus, they introduced themselves and said that they would serve that table, and now 10 different waiters were serving us. It wouldn't change much for me, but it's good to know and go back to the old way. The food is delicious. I tried chicken with sauce and it was delicious. I also tried sushi. Although when I read recommendations for sushi in Sofia, hardly anyone here recommended, but did not say that it is bad, but the sushi that I have tried here, in my opinion, is very tasty. Their lemonades are also very good. The prices are not cheap, but not too expensive either. I would say some middle ground. I paid 60 BGN for two, for a sushi portion of 16 pieces, a burger, fried chicken with sauce and a large lemonade. Since the restaurant is considered a more elite place, the prices are not too expensive. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and ambience. As a Macedonian, I spoke Macedonian everywhere in Sofia and here the waiters were not repulsive, like in the shops in Paradise Center. In my next visit to Sofia, I will surely visit this restaurant again. I would like this restaurant chain to open in Macedonia as well....

The food at Happy is outstanding, with a particular emphasis on its steaks, which are cooked to perfection, juicy, and flavorful. The menu is incredibly varied, featuring cuisine from all over the globe, ensuring that all diners, regardless of their tastes or dietary preferences, can find something they will enjoy. The waitstaff at Happy are friendly and attentive, going out of their way to make sure diners have a pleasant experience. Despite the high quality of the food and the sophisticated ambiance, the prices at Happy are quite fair, making it an excellent choice for both casual meals and special occasions without breaking the bank.
However, there are occasional delays in response time when using the call button system to request service. This minor issue aside, Happy is a highly recommended dining spot that excels in food quality, variety, and service.
The overall experience is delightful and well worth a visit, whether you are looking for a casual dinner or celebrating a special occasion. From the ambiance to the culinary offerings, Happy ensures a memorable dining experience that leaves guests...
Read moreI stayed for a day in Sofia so my partner and I decided to walk around the centre and we found this restaurant, it has a small queue so we decided to wait a try the food. While we waited a member of the staff approached and asked how many people were and if we smoked or not, I understand how busy they were at that time however she was the rudest person I've ever seen in a restaurant. We didn't wait for long before we got the table, the place was neat, and a waiter welcomed us and brought the menus, there were so many delicious options so it took a few minutes to decide what to order! They brought our orders after waiting a bit ( as they were quite busy) I ordered beef enchiladas and my partner something much better than my order as the main. The food was extremely delicious! I was full but I still wanted to order more!! I ordered a cake just for me but after my partner tried it I had to share it with him.
The tables have small “touch buttons” to call, request the bill or cancel something.
The price we paid was fine however they added an “optional” service charge without saying anything and I realized when I read the bill at the hotel saying “Your waiter has added and optional service charge of…”.
This is just my experience and again I have to highlight the taste of the food...
