Osteria Tartufo - Hristo Belchev — Restaurant in Sofia City

Unfortunately I will have to give this restaurant only one star because today the service was absolutely horrible. Before I tell you what happened I will just start off by saying that the food is very delicious and I would have given the restaurant 5 stars if it wasn’t for the horrible way we were treated. I have been here multiple times before and I have never had any problems besides the fact that sometimes the food came too slowly. Today though I didn’t even get the chance to eat because I was rudely kicked out for no reason. Everything started when I made a reservation for 21:15 because it was very last minute and so we arrive at the place about 10-15 minutes earlier and we ask if the table is already free by any chance, the hostess rudely told us that she explicitly said to come at 21:15 and told us to get out and wait. We wait until about 21:13 and we enter again and then she repeats the same thing so this time we wait right outside the restaurant. At 21:15 she comes and says “I’ve never had to kick out clients but you are going to be the first ones” and so we stare at her in shock and we proceed to tell her that this is not normal and this is not how you are supposed to act with clients, she started arguing back and she then started walking aggressively towards us as if she was about to punch us. What’s more, before everything happened, the people that came out of the restaurant right before we entered shared that they had problems as well with the staff and even wished us luck. Great ambiance and we were seated without having a reservation, which is appreciated. Our waiter was professional and very kind, also spoke Spanish which helped our international guests a lot. However, our waiter was speaking on the phone when we tried to order our alcoholic drinks and I reached out to one of the other waiters, who was free and wondering around, when he came with a very serious face, very bothered and annoyed that I have reached out to him and said: "You must order to your waiter". I explained that our waiter is on the phone at the moment, when he replied: "he will come" and turned his back on me. Then I apologised I have bothered this other waiter while he is on duty. This definitely spoiled the experience and our guests were asking me what happened. Dinner didn't arrive at the same time for all 6 people. The first main - risotto came about 45 minutes before the last two pizzas, followed by another 2 pizzas and the last 2 pizzas arrived way too late. Not to mention there was foil on my pizza. The restaurant has great potential, BUT... the service is not on the appropriate level for a place like this. I've been to all three locations and the last time was a few days ago when my and my boyfriend went to the one on Vasil Levski. We entered and there was nobody at the door and we actually thought we might have gone through a back door or staff entrance. We waited for awhile and a very grumpy guy with quite a mean tone greeted us, followed by apparently "the hostess". Very unacceptable. We ordered, the food came and as always it was very tasty but also as always - very cold. As i mentioned before, we've been to all the three restaurants and the pasta and pizza are always served cold. I don't know if it's bad luck or the servers are just bringing the food late or it just randomly happens to us very time but it's very disappointing and unacceptable for such restaurant. Not to mention that there was one server for the whole restaurant and our dinner plans went from "quick pasta and a drink" to staying for two hours because we were waiting for the bill for 40 minutes.
