A nice and cozy restaurant. Really great atmosphere although it gets a bit noisy inside when full and the music was a way too high for a restaurant. There are some great meal options although some of them were unavailable when we visited. The portions are not big but enough except you are not wolf hungry. The beer selection is limited to products from only one craft brewery but you can get a lager, a pilsner, etc. I would not recommend the burgers. They were too salty and overcooked, maybe it was just then to have them like this. However, I would recommend the sujuk (sausage) with leek - it was really good and it's served with some fries and pickle. The meal with the pulled pork is also really tasty. There are several lemonade options which were also fine. The personnel was really friendly so the overall experience was positive :) The prices are in the range of 15-20lv. for a meal, the salads 11-15lv. and the beers ~7-8lv. for 500ml.

There are several outside seatings, on a bar, which is nice when the weather is fine.

I would recommend this place as it's not on the main street and therefore you can meet more nice people different from the main type in the more mainstream places, where people go to show off, rather than enjoy the...

The food was good (not excellent but good), the prices were okay (especially for the center of Sofia). I give it 4/5 because of the service - it was slow, and they need urgently 3rd waitress/waiter. Obviously the 2 girls cannot handle all the orders (they were also responsible for all the takeaway orders). Besides, I had to wait for a soft drink for about 10-12 minutes (not a big deal, but for a small/medium size of restaurant it's not okay). I also noticed that one of the waitresses wasn't very polite, and she even told me "goodbye" even before I left my table - that's very disrespectful and most people won't visit again after such a case. I don't say it was personal, but the service could be much better than this. I left a tip because the staff is young and I'm sure that they will improve when they gain more experience in this business.

In general, good restaurant in the center of Sofia with some areas...

Again, very difficult to have a comparison against local eateries given I am a tourist. We chose to eat here because it was clearly packed with locals around lunch time. The same was true when we went for an evening meal as a number of people were turned away from specific tables (they were accommodated elsewhere) when turning up unannounced.

Our waitress was very good, from identifing we were foreign (English) as soon as we spoke and fetching a different menu, and being concerned with our menu choices making sure we knew what we were ordering. Once eating we were left alone. The food was delivered much quicker than anticipated and was very nice.

Atmosphere was pleasant and comfortable. Would...

Edit 2024: At first I was unpleasantly surprised by the small portion of fish (bonito). But after smelling it and tasting how overcooked it was, I considered the amount was actually a good thing. Service is way below average. 2023: I chose this restaurant for my birthday, because I wanted to be surprised. I like the idea of having different menu everyday, so you don't really know what to expect. Food was delicious, portions were enough, recipes interesting. Prices are reasonable. Location is perfect. Waitress could've been more friendly. The interior is great, but I didn't like the temperature. It would have been much cozier if it was warmer.

After visiting plenty of mid to high range restaurants in Sofia, i am happy to say that i finally found a place where i am happy to give it a 5 star rating. The crunchy avocado salad was a little disappointing, however all the rest of the salads of my party were perfect. The main dish i selected from the daily specials was the porketa which was incredibly delicious, giving a tasty peace of pork accompanied by some duck liver which was super delicious, potatoes and crunchy little bites from apple and lime. The dessert was baklava which was more then enough size-wise and taste was 10/10

A nice and cozy place in the heart of Sofia, just next to “Vitoshka”. Their daily menu is full of great options for a quick lunch or dinner, although the prices become a bit overwhelming in the evening. I strongly recommend trying out their take on traditional Bulgarian cuisine. My only more major complaint might be that the waiters are not really trying to make you feel comfortable or create an experience, they just take food from the bar and leave it on your table, that’s it. Otherwise, a great place with great food.
