I had very high expectations and they were hit! It was a bit complicated to eat there without reservation. They open only in the evening and work from Tuesday to Saturday. Anyway totally worth go there. We ordered two Aperol Spritz which were great. (they have also on the menu the Sbagliato cocktail made with vermouth!). Then we were brought some focaccia offered by the Pizzeria, with some extravergine oil and balsamic vinegar. I had not enough time to take a photo, it was absolutely stunning the oil. After that, we asked to be moved in a table inside and they let us, we took two pizza: my was Olio d'Oliva with Burrata on top and slices of San Daniele Prosciutto and Carbonara, with pecorino cheese and guanciale. The dough is very light and very tasty. Between those two pizzas we preferred the Olio d'Oliva. Then we took another because we curious to try another and went for Mortadella and pistachio. Again terrific! I was too full and could eat my half but still, this place has great food quality and service was great too, kind people, very helpful when we asked to be moved inside, time to time were coming to ask if we need something more or just to know if anything was ok. Very appreciated. Finally we took one grappa too (but they have also Limoncello and Averna). The price wasn't pricey at all, one of the pizza in particular had fresh burrata and wasn't expensive for the quality we ate. Totally recommended, we will be back for sure!

Pizzeria "Olio D'Oliva" offers a tantalizing taste of Italy with a Bulgarian twist. From the moment you step in, you're greeted with a lively atmosphere and the aroma of freshly baked pizzas. The service may be a bit unconventional with its rough and ready approach, but that's all part of the charm. As the pizzas keep coming out one after another, you'll find yourself indulging in every cheesy bite, while your famished companions eagerly await their turn. It's a communal dining experience that adds to the fun of the meal. The staff at "Olio D'Oliva" are not only efficient but also incredibly friendly, ready to share a joke or two to brighten up your day. Located conveniently near the metro in the heart of Sofia, the prices are surprisingly affordable given the quality of food and service. The pizzas themselves are a delightful blend of flavours, with fresh ingredients and crispy bases that leave you craving for more. While the vegan pizza may have had a tad too much basil, it's a minor flaw in an otherwise fantastic dining experience. For a taste of Italy with a Bulgarian twist, "Olio D'Oliva" is a must-visit. So, gather your friends and family, head over to this charming pizzeria, and savour the delicious pizzas on offer. You won't be disappointed!

Tried this restaurant since the reviews are great I ordered a margherita which was decent, the impasto was ok but mozzarella and pomodoro were not good (it tasted like pasta al pomodoro), but that’s fine. The problem of the experience was what happened to my boyfriend… at first he ordered a crudo asking the waitress if they could add burrata… she said that unfortunately they could not, so he ordered a pizza with mortadella, burrata and pistacchio… first time it came BURNT and covered with mortadella so we couldn’t see it (since it was without pomodoro or mozzarella the pizzaiolo knew it was burnt and choose to give it to us anyway). They give us another one and this time it was overcooked (clearly too crunchy, slightly brown) but not burnt so he ate it anyway. Then we looked at the table next to us and a girl got a crudo with burrata on top (or something really close to it, which the waitress could’ve informed us about) and that was sad because why would they make it for her and not for my boyfriend… We just came back home and my boyfriend got bellyache and threw up and at the moment I’m feeling pretty bad too… I have to say the price was really cheap since for 2 pizzas and 2 water bottles we spent 35 lev (≈17€)

My experience at Pizzeria "Olio D'Oliva" was nothing short of a divine gourmet symphony - an enrapturing testament to the culinary art of pizza making set in the heart of Sofia. The moment you step through the illustrious entrance, you're immediately engulfed by the intoxicating scent of fresh dough and autentico Italiano aromas that romance the senses and awaken an insatiable longing for a slice of Italia's finest creation.

Every bite at Olio D'Oliva is a mellifluous serenade to discerning tastebuds. The pizzas, the pièce de résistance of this charming establishment, are a gastronomic extravaganza. The spotlight truly is on their phenomenal test your dough concept, a comestible spectacle which invites you to indulge in their trinity of variations - classic, the verdant spirulina, and the mysterious shadow-veiled charcoal. Customized to perfection and baked with passionate precision, their dough becomes a golden canvas adorned with a vibrant tapestry of fresh ingredients, all of them lovingly caressed by their in-house produced, kiss of sunshine – the namesake Olio D'Oliva.

The selection of pizzas isn't just vast, it's a meticulous assortment of epicurean adventures, with ingredients that feel like they’ve been plucked straight from luscious Italian vineyards and sun-kissed Mediterranean groves. And each slice is lavish, yet light, pairing perfectly with their carefully curated collection of Italian wines – a sensual dance of flavors vivifying your palette, providing an oasis of indulgence in the epicenter of the city.

The ambiance is as spellbinding as the fare. This quaint, elegant pizzeria juxtaposes the hustle and bustle of urban life with a warm, Italian charm, cocooning you in an intimate environment that facilitates both convivial gatherings and tranquil solo dining.

Impeccable service is the cherry on top of this savory symphony. The staff, brimming with hospitable warmth, anticipates your every need and bestows upon you a service, an experience that genuinely adds to the exquisite nature of Olio D'Oliva.

This culinary gem doesn't merely prepare pizza, it sculpts a masterpiece, a gastronomic opus that you won't merely taste, but profoundly experience. For every pizza lover, every avid food explorer, and every enthusiast of the La Dolce Vita, Pizzeria "Olio D'Oliva" beckons with open arms. Give into temptation, and allow it to whisk you away on an unforgettable journey of incomparable Italian enchantment. An absolute must-visit, Mille grazie,...
