KC's Burger & Lounge Bar — Restaurant in Battambang

Absolutely ghastly food and drinks - squid stir fry should be called carrot stir fry - there was literally 5 small pieces of rubbery squid in there. Chicken wings were 5 pieces starvation level chicken bones. Burger was like dried out leather sandwiched between cardboard. Fries limp, soggy and greasy. Drinks had zero alcohol - literally one of the worst restaurants in Cambodia.

Thanks for your response although you didn't seem inclined to address the problems with the atrocious food we were served? You implied I'm a regular customer but actually last night was the first time I've ever been to your restaurant (and for sure the last). Let me send a before and after photo of your squid pepper stir fry as honestly it was not good. You left before my wife could complain herself otherwise she surely would have directly to you. Yes she liked your previous social media posts as you're a minor celebrity and good for you but after being served that horrible food and drinks I imagine her views have changed. We want to support good restaurants in Cambodia but honestly if what you were serving up last night was anything to go by you need to do a lot of work. The drinks served in odd glasses are a gimmick to disguise the fact they're using cheap spirits. Burger was dry and tasteless. I hope for your sake, your business and your very nice staff you can improve. No beef with you as I don't know you and first time in 24 years I've been to your place. Not what you want to hear I'm sure but hopefully this will help you improve. Staff were very nice I must add - and looked embarrassed at the plate of left over carrots when I mentioned it. You really are a sad old sausage if you're so obsessed with my 44 year old wife more than your mediocre at best food (I'm being charitable ) - listen I'm happy you have your millions of views - have no problems with your minor celebrity - well done we're all impressed. But here's the deal - go to Joe's Burger in Siem Reap and learn how to do it properly . I wish you well despite what you might think but your hubris and arrogance is telling. You can insult me all you want but I was telling the truth about our experience at your restaurant - I hope you can improve as Cambodia has a great dining scene in so many place across the country and hopefully one day you can be part of that. If I could I would give more stars. This was one of the highlights in Battambang and in Cambodia itself.

1. The food was amazing. We had the chicken burger, the fries, sweet potato fries (different than I know them but still good), and the camembert burger (amazing!! if you are a fan of it). The set came with a salad which was also nice and not too bug so you can eat everything and you are full.

2. The service and owner are amazing people. So nice and pleased to get to know you. So welcoming and you feel like you know them a long time.

3. We did not have much time but upstairs is a little museum about the history of Battambang. We had to rush through it because we were in a hurry which was a bummer. But it still amazed us. You definitely need to check it out.

You have to go here!! We will come...

The service at KC's was exceptional! Best we have had in three months travelling Asia! We visited this bar twice during our stay. The owners are just amazing and such a great sense of humour so many laughs😂. We wanted to watch a game of AFL ... Huge challenge but they managed to find a way for us to view this game which meant so much to me 😊 literally made my day. The beer is icy cold and the glasses are refrigerated. They make special mojitos! Have not eaten much Western food lately but the burgers and chicken tenders were excellent and the sauces were superb. Local food also great.
