Uraetei BBQ Japan — Restaurant in Khan Boeng Keng Kang

The private booths are nice. Properly vented BBQs. Quick customer service. Prices are higher here, but the plates of meat come thickly sliced. Great quality. I recommend the ones with sauce.

We ordered 3 plates of beef (2x finger rib and 1x outside skirt), lettuce wrapping set, 2 side soups, corn, mixed mushroom plate, mushroom caps, 1 large and 1 small rice, and 2 water bottles for $50.

Our usual go-to for Japanese BBQ is Shaburi & Kintan Buffet at Aeon for about $21 per person for (level 2) Kintan buffet. I think the price is better at Kintan for the amount of food and has a similar quality. This would be my preference for dinner.

However, there are lunch sets 11:00-14:00 that are a good deal here at Uraetei. We've had the set lunch here before. We did order an extra plate of beef to share in addition to the sets and that was a good lunch.

Nice Japanese style yakiniku restaurant with authentic Japanese decor for photo taking.

They had huge menu with range of meat to choose from and a lot of sushi too, which I don’t recall they had sushi 2 years ago.

The meat quality itself was good but I will preferred more Tare (sweet soy sauce) options, because spicy sauce is too spicy to my taste, however the taste was good overall.

Sushi was fine for bbq restaurant. Seafood was frozen, however it taste fine after bbq, so no comment there.

Aircon was a bit weak in the restaurant, especially with burning charcoal in front, so people with higher heat tolerance should do the honor and be the pit master to grill all the food. :) [irresponsible comments] XD

Ordered a set that up comes with 3 plates of beef, pork for hotpot and a plate of vegetables like carrot, cucumber, morning glory and salads. The price is acceptable as this set cost less than $13 for two people. We can call the people there for service via pressing a button given on the table. Refilling of soups took 7 mins~ as at that time we were the only customers and they had to reheat or make more of the soup while we wait? Noodles were fresh and made as we ordered which took 10 mins or so. Overall, a pleasant experience...
