As a Latin American, former hostess of a Mexican restaurant in Dubai and foodie, I must say that BAY AREA TACOS, are the best tacos in Phnom Penh. Their Californian style is amazing, the restaurants are amazingly clean and the staff is welcoming and knowledgeable. Its obvious how they pay attention to details in their food presentation, the atmosphere, and their interaction with the customer. The price is affordable and you get excellent food. Been coming here for years for tacos and beer and is hands down the best to this day. Owner, as per the name states, is indeed from the Bay Area in Cali and he ensures the same taste if not better. Pork, chicken or beef, tacos are simple as they should be, and absolutely delicious.Chips are crisps, the beers are cold, I cant ask for more. They have burritos, nachos, quesadillas as well, excellent, but the tacos are my favorite. I would gladly say that this is the best Taco place in town! I have tried several tacos in America and this is one of the place that I could get pretty much a similar authentic taste. I had beef tacos and they were good!

The interior looks simple and clean, although it is quite a small place with no parking spots around. I recommend you call a ride there or go by a motorcycle.

As for the price and quality, it’s such a reasonable price and the quality of the food were fresh as well. Overall, I like this place and I would definitely come back here again for more tacos.
