Today around 2:00 PM was a less than optimal Good Earth experience. I went in to redeem a free specialty drink I've had for a while and to get my wife an iced mocha while we were out walking our puppy. When I went to order my drinks (the mocha and a vanilla latte), the cashier indicated he didn't know how to redeem the reward. As there was no one behind me, I assumed that meant he would go ask someone who did know, but he tried to pressure me to just pay for both and save the reward for later. I was firm that I wanted to use the reward on the more expensive drink, since I rarely go there, but when the manager did come (and I reminded her to do the more expensive drink) they did the discount for the cheaper one anyways. Not only that, the original employee (clearly new) wandered off so he didn't even learn how to do rewards for the next time this comes up. Frustrated, I just paid and went to wait for the drinks. It took around 30 minutes for the two drinks to be served, all the while my wife and puppy were waiting outside for me in 30 degree weather. At the 20 minute mark in waiting, they had to ask me again what I ordered, despite only one other customer coming in that entire time. Easily the worst experience I have had, and I truly don't like to write negative reviews. In terms of friendliness they were great, and if the context of my order was different I wouldn't mind waiting a little longer, but 30 minutes is too long for the small number of drink orders they had (I have worked...
Read moreHas gone downhill. I used to go here all the time but I am sad to say the quality of the coffee, food and atmosphere has declined. The coffee is watery now, the big fresh baked muffins I used to love are 1/4 of their original size and the food display looks completely unappetizing when before it all looked fresh and delicious. There used to be beautiful artwork from local artists on the walls and now just screws and hanging gear. The girl at the counter was very friendly but unfortunately good customers service can’t make up for product quality. The coffee didn’t taste as good as what I can make while camping in the woods. Seems they may be cutting corners and not using enough beans but still charging expensive coffeehouses prices. Will not be returning, very sad because this used to be a great...
Read moreI really love their chocolate twist. I also got a Chai latte, it's okay but not a lot of flavor, tastes more like warm milk with froth on top.
My husband got the breakfast power bowl and he loved it. Very healthy ingredients, great taste! Embogo coffee was very good as well.
Service was okay. Person decided to fill the milk for the coffee and answer the phone before serving us and we practically had to announce we were there. We were the only ones in line.
Update: I really wish they wouldn't close the store for delivery. The last time I went I was second in line and it took 25 minutes to get a pastry and a coffee. It's very frustrating when you just want to pay...
