I've ordered from Zenbu for delivery a few times through their website.
Its a mostly painless process, the let you know up front that delivery takes about 45 minutes unless its during their busy time (Friday to Sunday from 4-7)
They have a nice selection to choose from, the variety is good and its nice they have some Korean dishes too!
Delivery comes fairly fast and everything that should be hot is.
Food is nicely packaged, the portions are what you would expect when ordering sushi.
My last experience was really poor which is why I bumped the rating down by two stars.
I ordered at 4:00 on a Tuesday for a delivery window between 5 and 5:30.
5:30 comes around and no delivery has arrived, I figured I would wait and maybe they were busy - I've never had any issues before.
5:45 arrives and I call them to ask about my order status, the lady I spoke to was very nice and let me know that the driver left "awhile ago" and it should arrive soon.
6:00 I go for a short walk, figuring its been over a half an hour after my delivery window maybe it was misdelivered to one of my neighbors? I didn't find anything and my neighbors say that haven't seen anything - I returned home with no food and nothing was waiting for me when I got back.
At 6:20 I'm confused, Zenbu is close it should have arrived long by now so I call back. Same person answered the phone and they seem confused - the driver has already returned and picked up more orders it should have been delivered. She offered to call the driver and get back to me.
6:30 ish Zenbu calls me back - the driver is claiming that he delivered my order. I point out I haven't received it which is why I was calling, none of my neighbors had gotten it delivered to them by accident. She says the driver is really close to me she will get the driver to come back and show me where it is as it was delivered. She asks me to wait outside for the driver.
I wait outside and 6:50 rolls around. The driver FINALLY shows up - his first words out of his car? Is to complain that I called the restaurant and asking what was going on, complains about traffic and "trains", I needed to be more patient, and I was being very unreasonable.
This is almost and hour and a half AFTER the latest time my order was supposed to be delivered.
The driver hands me my order from the back seat of his car and leaves, no apology or acknowledgement of the situation.
I don't know if the driver forgot my order, wanted to eat it himself or something else happened.
I wish I had called and complained but at that point I was too hungry to keep waiting and it was such a poor experience I basically gave up.
The food I got was cold, soggy and just really disappointing - most of it ended up in the garbage because it had obviously sat out for a long time and I didn't want to risk eating raw fish or super soggy tempura.
I'm going to stick to dine...

From the moment you step into Zenbu, you're transported into a serene, elegant atmosphere that perfectly balances modern minimalism with traditional Japanese aesthetics. Whether you're a seasoned sushi lover or simply looking for a memorable dining experience, Zenbu absolutely delivers on all fronts.
Food: The menu is a thoughtfully curated blend of authentic classics and innovative twists. The sushi is undeniably the star — incredibly fresh, expertly sliced, and beautifully presented. The otoro practically melts in your mouth, and the dragon roll was a perfect harmony of flavor and texture. Their miso-glazed black cod is a must-try — tender, flaky, and rich with umami. Even the simplest dishes, like their miso soup or agedashi tofu, are done to perfection.
Service: The staff at Zenbu are warm, attentive, and knowledgeable. They're happy to guide you through the menu or recommend sake pairings without being intrusive. You can tell they take pride in both the food and the experience.
Ambience: Calm, clean, and intimate. Whether you're here for a quiet dinner, a date night, or a special celebration, the atmosphere is always inviting. The soft lighting and tasteful decor make it feel upscale without being pretentious.
Final Thoughts: Zenbu isn’t just a restaurant — it’s a place where culinary craft meets hospitality. It's rare to find a spot that nails flavor, presentation, and service all at once, but Zenbu does exactly that. I left already planning my next visit.

Their Wednesday night all you can eat. was ~$19 which was a reasonable price and I was quite happy with the food. Don't expect the highest level of sushi ingredients (those are expensive), but they were good. I would highly recommend it if you are in the area on a Wednesday. I will be returning to try some of their regular dishes.
While the all you can eat menu may not have deserts included (like Fantaci) and tea (like some other places), and it doesn't include sushi ( but does have rolls, special rolls, maki, temaki) It is a fair amount cheaper. While similar, most special rolls were unique compared to the other sushi restaraunts I frequent, and fairly sizeable... which actually made a few difficult to eat... without mangling them (haha).
If it is important to you, the green tea ice cream didn't quite taste like green tea (macha or no), but I still enjoyed it. Also, I am a little suspect of the dishes, they have a cool paint colour... but it looks like the ceramic is painted with the metallic paints that aren't food safe. You know... the ones with...
