Chungchun Rice Hotdog Aurora — Restaurant in Aurora

If you are living in Aurora or Newmarket, you are missing out! I have heard people have come from as far as Bradford to try the ricedogs (corndogs but with rice flour) here!

I am a regular frequent customer, buying hotdogs two to three times a week, sometimes even more, the hotdogs are great by themselves, but there are quite a number of combinations possible with sixteen types of hotdogs, four kinds of toppings, eleven types of sauces and seven types of seasonings!

Psst, I personally am a big cheese lover, so if you are like me, I highly recommend the Marble cheese or the Whole Mozza! If you need some beef protein, the Half Mozza isn't bad of a choice too!

When I moved down to Aurora from Sutton, I did think my life would be a bit more spiced up, but I got lucky and ended up moving into the sweet neighborhood near the very same plaza that holds this Rice Hotdog Chain! Seven minutes walk away to a paradise of hotdogs!

I loved the hotdogs so much that I ended up working a part time gig at this place, that sweet employee discount will one day empty my poor wallet! im a good way of course ;) (though having three jobs is beginning to become too much to handle...)

You can also order online via Skip The Dishes, Doordash, etc, you can call and preorder as well, and the wait time is about an in between a fast food joint and a diner. six minutes give or take eh?

There is a gym next door as well as a cineplex, so there are things to do before or after your hotdog.

First time trying chungchun. The mozzarella corn dog was good, but the service and cleanliness failed. 1) ordered waiting for my order, 2 customers came afterward, placed there order, my order was given to the person who came after me, so I had to wait again, when they noticed that the customer had the wrong order they let the customer know and made the customer pay for the second order which they were given wrongfully, 2 set of customers got the order and still waiting for mine over 30 min approached. While still waiting, the cashier was cashing customers handling money, wiping her face, then proceeding to stick the skewer into the corn dogs on multiple times not washing her hands kept on cashing customers handling cash going back and sticking the skewer. I had to leave a review as I left disappointed. I know it’s just food so it’s not that big of a deal lol but just had to share. I ordered the “gamsung potato” and “add cheese.” I was just told ok. As my daughter is eating, there was no hot dog. We thought maybe it’s “half” (as mine only had half a hot dog which is so odd but besides the point) but as we checked, no hot dog. I brought it to the lady’s attention and she said no you said to “add cheese” so it doesn’t come with a hot dog 💀 I asked if we can get it with hot dog and she actually said no. I never left somewhere so fast and will never return. And no I don’t want to be contacted if the owner is reading this. But I had to give 1 star simply for that poor service.
