A year into the pandemic and they lose another star for today's performance. I went for a couple of items but took a cart to help with walking (chronic pain) and picked up about 6 or 7 items. There was no hand sanitiser on the way in, nor anyone cleaning carts. When I got to the cash I left my cart at the side as did the person in front of me, rather than mix it with the others. The elderly cashier, rather than serve me, decided she would put the carts away. So I commented that I took it that no-one was cleaning carts? Her reply.... I don't know, I've only just started. WOW. So much for wiping down in a 3rd wave of a world pandemic. I'll be making the trip to Dollarama in future where they at least make a solid effort to keep their customers safe.

The 2 stars are for products and prices. Lose a star for not having a working handicap front door. Lose a star for slow service. Matt was cashing out people so slowly it was ridiculous. He finally, after a line built up of approx 10 people, called for back up. Alejandro came to help and I'm sure I wasn't the only one who noticed he scanned at about the rate of 3 items to 1 item that Matt scanned. Don't put slow cashiers on a register on busy days. He also waited far too long to call back up. One star lost due to NO customer service and actually asking me, as he handled my bag that I had given him, " Did you need a bag?". Read moreToday I went into the store at approximately 1100 and I wanted to purchase a balloon . I asked the lady with brown hair to assist me but she was very condescending and rude . I asked her I would like to purchase a balloon . Her tone of voice was very rude and she processed to tell me that she is receiving an order and I must wait . She went on to tell me that I must pick from a balloon that was already blown up . Wth why would I want a balloon that has been there for god knows how long . (Helium balloon )This employee was behaving like she was doing me a favour by assisting me. Reality check sweetheart you are working there. If you don’t enjoy your job change your job . Don’t give customers attitude . The best part was went I went to pay there was a huge line up and she went on cash and to cash people out but she was such a Karen and although I was next in line she decided to help the next person behind me . Read moreI had an unpleasant experience at this Dollar Tree location. I asked the cashier for a bag, and while it's understandable if she didn’t hear me the first time, the situation escalated unnecessarily. When I politely asked for a bag again, she insisted that I hadn’t requested one. I calmly explained that I had and even offered to pay for it, yet she continued to argue with me instead of just resolving the issue. To make matters worse, she proceeded to inform the next two people in line about the situation, which felt unprofessional and unnecessary.
I patiently waited for the bag, and when she finally handed it to me, I again offered to pay, but she refused. Her attitude throughout the interaction was rude and condescending, making the entire experience uncomfortable.
