A gentleman, who I believe was the proprietor, was very friendly and welcoming. He introduced us to the food options and told us about the cooking process, which as an amateur home chef I could appreciate. The lamb shank which I ordered as part of Qabli Uzbeki is cooked for 3.5 hours and not in a pressure cooker. I can really taste it.

The meat was truly and out of this world succulent, flavorful, only possible by time, and perfectly intact. All in all it was a generous portion and coming here really brightened my day as I had a negative experience with someone in the family having gone to another restaurant just earlier.

I've had lamb shank very regularly from Jimmy the Greek growing up and my share of Afghan food from Toronto. This dish was simply outstanding and I appreciate the proprietor's feedback to give this a try.
