Curry Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Barrie

Praise to our server GINNI, we got into barrie at around 9pm plugged in our car then headed out for a walk to find some food. and conveniently while walking to this boring place my gf mentioned called Tiffany’s (her name is Tiffany too) I spot this place of glory! I say come on we gotta go in, I don’t want food from Tiffany’s come man that’s sounds terrible. After tons of fighting a little bruises here and there we calmed down hugged and entered into the place. at first I’m ready to leave immediately (I’m just bad with first impressions is all) but before we could turn around. ENTER GINNI, she’s like hello dine in or take out we like screw it might as-well, dine in! We sit down food came super fast and was amazing, but I am not here to talk about the food, it’s was awesome don’t get me wrong, but what was better was this beautiful person named GINNI that me and my lovely girlfriend got to spend the afternoon with, she is one of the nicest sweetest people you will ever meet and deserves only the best of this world, If you go to this place you ask for GINNI pronounced (GIN-NI) she made our day so much to the point where it is 11pm and we are still sitting here constructing this novel of appreciation for her. Thank you and we will be back... probably...

Placed my take-out order on a Sunday evening. Headed to the restaurant and got there 20 mins. later. They said it would be 5 more minutes. A line of customers and Skip drivers started to gather. They had 1 girl working the cash, take-out orders and waiting tables. Everyone complaining. I see 2 bags come out and get placed on a table and sit there for 25 minutes. When it was my turn to ask where my food was she says “Oh!” And turns and grabs one of those bags. I said it’s been sitting there for 25 mins. She said Naan wasn’t ready. Meanwhile, everyone who ordered after me got naan. It took over 1 hour from order to when I got the food, including over 40 mins waiting in the restaurant and watching the dumpster fire that was their operation. Worst service and understaffed. Butter chicken was meh… not much better than the one you get at Costco. First time there and definitely the last. Horrible Horrible experience, and. I wasn’t...

3.5 stars - Food taste was good. It was extremely expensive for the small portions. We waited more than 20 mins for the food to be prepared and it was just warm when it was served. I suggest that the chef/cook make the sauces a bit thicker as it was slightly watery. This restaurant has some good potential but needs to work on the above issues. Drop the10% discount for a review as it undermines your reputation and most unauthentic incentivized reviews are really easy to spot. I will probably give it a few months before I try it again... but take out next time. Glad to see that you were following...
