I typically don’t write reviews, but the service I received at Mucho Burrito was so bad, I feel compelled to share my experience. The lady working at the counter was rude and seemed like she didn’t want to be there. I went to the restaurant with my father; he ordered a quesadilla, and I got a burrito. When I began to place my order, I noticed that most of the ingredients didn’t look appealing, with many looking dry or almost appearing "freezer burnt." That should have been our first sign to leave. To make matters worse, the ingredients that didn’t look freezer-burnt were portioned very stingily. When I asked for some of those, the lady gave me barely half a spoonful, which, in hindsight, may have been a favour considering how bad the food was. When it was my father’s turn to order, we’re not sure if the employee was trying to irritate him or if she just didn’t hear him, as he had to repeat his order three times. Eventually, she made his so-called "lukewarm" quesadilla and cut it into three pieces before tossing both the food and sauce containers into the takeout bag; in a poorly presented way. By this point, both my father and I were genuinely confused and frustrated with the terrible service, but we refrained from saying anything. We ended up paying $33 for a burrito and a quesadilla, and thought the worst was behind us. But when I was nearly halfway through my burrito which tasted as though it was made with leftovers, I found a hair in it. At that point, we’d had enough. I threw my burrito out, and my father was equally disgusted. The fact that I’m taking time out of my day to write this review should speak volumes to anyone reading. Don’t go here! I’m genuinely disappointed, especially because I used to visit this Mucho Burrito location years ago, and it was...
Read moreJust wanted to share something that happened to me so that it doesn’t happen to anyone else: I was at home eating my burrito from Mucho Burrito, when I bit into something very hard that hurt my teeth. When I felt the resistance and pain I immediately let up and inspected the burrito, which is when I realized there was a large piece of what is either very hard plastic or metal in my burrito.
This is extremely disappointing and I am very upset. The most frustrating part of this experience was that my Fiancé was met with so much hostility and issues when he tried to use his student SPC card to get the free chips and dip. The employees fought him relentlessly on this subject and weren’t properly educated on their own stores protocols and procedures. They were doing so all while having multiple SPC stickers surrounding them and the building. To have this much of a fight for chips and dip only to later bite into a piece of metal/hard plastic while eating the burrito is truly pathetic.
In regard to the piece of metal/hard plastic found in the burrito, understand that this could be a one off and single event, however, I did want to warn the community as this could mean that they have equipment that is currently broken or breaking— and there could be more pieces found in other people’s burritos. This also means that whoever is eating the Pulled Pork is clearly eating fragments of this material, as they did not use any utensils while assembling my burrito— which means this was already lodged into the meat well in advance.
I am extremely upset and extremely disappointed. I will not be returning to this location again and would rather make the drive to a different location then...
Read moreAll around 2/5. Just leaving now, got the tacos and they weren’t horrible. Also ordered the churro. Was told it would either be 3-5, or 10-15 minutes, I couldn’t tell what he said, but figured I would be notified one way or another when it was ready. Like any other food place. Doesn’t help they don’t have the bake time on the menu. Just “baked to order!” I eat my tacos and have a chat. I finished my okay tacos and look behind me to the counter to see if it’s ready. (I’m also looking in the middle of my chat Incase I didn’t hear) I get up to throw my trash out, and i see the employee who helped me go into the restrooms. I am still without my churro. ~ 20-25 minutes after ordering. So I go back wait a few more minutes and decide to just go up, I get the girl’s attention and she says “churro? Oh! Here it is.” I had to wait for this fresh baked churro, only to get it lukewarm and stale, 30 minutes after ordering. Both me and my friend tried it, and it was nasty. I get up to throw it out and I see the first employee sitting behind us on his break. He notices me and goes to get it from behind the counter where the put all the toppings on; but I stop him, because it’s in the trash now. He asked about me getting it, and I said I just went up because I had no idea it was even ready. He got a bit of an attitude from there and we left a few minutes later. So I spent $20 on this meal as a very broke college student, and didn’t even get an edible churro:( official dealing with it and making my food at home from now. I’ve never come to this chain before but I probably...
