I have the same issues as others it seems. I've been coming here for years and the last few pre covid even the service is steadily going down hill. I have tried a few times to give them a chance by ordering the same meal each time. However each order was either the wrong item all together , or the staff would argue it's correct when the receipt says otherwise.
An example being. My last three visits I've ordered a Reuben. Simple Grilled sandwich , Sauerkraut , russian dressing , swiss cheese , corn beef. Like a meaty tangy Grilled cheese. Not pressed or just simply toasted bread with meat and cheese put on it.
My First two attempts yielded a Corn beef on Rye with Mustard , and a Corn beef on untoasted rye no cheese. When I asked if this was a Reuben they said yes each time. The Third time and the reason for the review , is the same I got a cold Corn beef sandwich , no kraut , no dressing with mustard , and toasted before hand then put in the oven.
I do not blame the cook , I blame the training. To the cooks who keep making this mistake. My apologies for your poor training, and if you've received any trouble for another mistake.
I'd like to note that though the lady helping me was cold and short with me , she still processed my refund. However no one in the restaurant seemed to care what was actually wrong. I was immediately approached with high high levels of hostility. I get most people likely come up and yell , however that wasn't the case. I just wanted a Reuben.
I hope they improve , or bring in someone who knows how to correct any training mishaps with their menu.

Read moreI’m a frequent Williams visitor (3-4x a week) and I have to say generally speaking it is always a pleasant experience. I don’t typically order food so can’t comment on the food quality but with respect to service it is usually good/consistent.
Couple areas where they could improve is:
there are no trash cans anywhere and the waitress always says it’s so they can promptly identify which tables need to be cleaned and I get that but it isn’t the best way to go about it. There needs to be trash cans available for your guests.
I notice when they deliver your drink or food to your table they always ask “is that all?/did your order any food? As if you ordered more.
Again, i know this is process and can understand the why but it makes no sense. As the server you should know what the table order is prior to delivering anything and update the guest on timing for the rest of the items, hence not have to ask that question. In addition, if it was an upsell tactic you can’t even order from your table so it makes 0 sense.
Overall aesthetic lacks in the restroom (outdated stained stalls) and sometimes the restaurant (no trash)
sometimes I notice even if you are dining in that they try to get you ti carry your own tea or coffee to your table if that is all you ordered. So they hand you a plate and drink but I find it hard to manage if I have a laptop and purse with me. End up shaking all the way to my table and losing half my coffee to the floor.
Again overall very positive experiences at Williams but just some areas i noticed that don’t...
Read more1st time at this place, wasn't impressed. How are people paying these prices? I ordered a medium hot chocolate, was blown away by the price $5.10 ( I mean it was an every day hot chocolate, nothing fancy about it. The price would have been a little easier to swallow if the hot chocolate wasn't room temperature warm, after drinking 1/4 of it I thought I'd go ask them to heat it up, when I asked if they had a microwave, I was looked at like I was asking for a rocket ship to the moon, she says questionably...a microwave?? Yes I Said, could I please have it heated, she then says well I could put more milk in it? Wait, what, my issue with it is that it's cold & you're overing milk., anyway she takes it away & comes back in a few mins & says try it now, I take a sip & its a wee bit warmer, I mean a wee bit, I thought to myself " not worth the effort so I went back to my table. It was also extremely sweet ( more then normal hot chocolate is) I happened to look up at the menu, $5 for a cinnamon roll!!! Omg how do people enjoy paying the price for lunch items etc. Way over priced in my oppinion. 1st & last visit here. Edit: it also seems odd that while only ordering a beverage, you have to take a number, sit at your table 10-15 mins & wait for it, why? Its a hot chocolate not a sandwich? Is it the same for all orders, coffee, tea etc (...
