UPDATE: NOV 23, 2024
Returned to try the "new and improved" food under the new management... WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!
Tried Seekh Kabab Wrap, Nihari and Biryani.
Seekh Kabab Wrap was vegetables wrapped in naan with traces of what could be doubted as a skewered kabab.
Nihari was a thick curried flour sauce with the only lump mistaken as meat turned out to be an unpleasant inedible gristle!!!
The Biryani was an insult to the injury and calling it Biryani should be considered a crime! There were FOUR bones (no meat attached) and one chunk of fat that were added to half cooked spiced rice that had no flavor even remotely resembling that of Biryani! Call it something else please.
How could a restaurant be so consistently poor in quality and still be allowed to run for over a week?
I WON'T BE RETURNING AND DO NOT RECOMMENDED ANYONE TO EVEN TRY OUT THEIR FOOD.
My older review about this restaurant below is a proof that I am proud of posting honest reviews and always support businesses that try to serve the communities with genuine effort and honesty... serving stale, poor quality food for high price is worth nothing more than a bad review.
Eating here is DEFINITELY NOT recommended!
FEB 2024: Exceptionally welcoming and courteous. Qaisar bhai won our hearts even before we could try the delicious food that we got for takeaway. Biryani was rightly recommended, Butter Chicken stood out as the best we have tried anywhere across GTA but the true winner was Daal Maash with the most authentic taste! Naan were fresh and soft. And, not to miss the best Kheer that was yet another highlight of our experience at Tikka Fusion. Definitely coming again for more, especially for the...
Read moreI ordered takeout for myself, my husband and my BFF to enjoy a delicious lunch. We ordered 2 tandoori chicken legs and 2 lamb kormas.
The lamb korma was incredible with a deep rich flavor that complement the lamb perfectly.
Yes it was an amazing experience with a perfect blend of spices that tinged the taste buds but didn't overpower them. It was spicy and burned but in a pleasing way (I LOVE spicy so please take this into consideration) and I didn't require water with the meal.
There were beautiful big chunks of meat on the bone and you could taste the richness of the bone broth from simmering in the spices.
The ginger and garlic highlights were fresh and delicious. There was a thin film of spicy oil on top of the curry but that is to be expected when using the ingredients required to make korma and I did not feel it took away any of my enjoyment and tasted amazing when naan was dipped into the gravy.
The naan was light and fluffy and came with the meal.
The tikka my husband had (and I stole a bite of) was well spiced and marinated and the meat had a well absorbed flavour from marinating over night. The meat was tender and moist and you could taste the charing from the BBQ. The creamly yogurt mint chutney was a perfect compliment to the meal. Naan also came with the tikka.
I've fallen in love with the food here and I definitely will be a...
Read moreI ordered Chicken Karma, Samosa & Naan Bread.
I was disappointed to find my chicken was on the bone so this involved picking through my meal with my hands to remove all the bones. I have ordered this same dish from other Indian restaurants and never ever had it served that way. Very dissappointed in how much chicken there actually was once removed from the bone.
I enjoyed the flavor but was surprised at how greasy everything was. It was delivered in paper bags with no other form of absorption used for the grease so needless to say the whole ordered looked like it was dipped in the deep fryer. The container for the food was also poor quality so my chicken dish leaked all over everything else.
Same may read this and think the form of packaging is not important but I disagree. If I could dine in , I would expect decent presentation of my meal and I would hope for the same...
