Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Barrie

Pizza Hut has always been the go to treat for us when we want good pizza, unfortunately this time it was more or less inedible. 2 medium pizzas and bread sticks. 1 stuffed crust and 1 thin crust. When we got our order delivered, the thin crust was completely burnt to a crisp and the stuffed crust cheese and mushrooms were burnt and over cooked it was tough and chewy. I called to ask about a refund but was told they can only offer a credit (which is fine) the woman I spoke with told me that “it is not our fault because we have a lot of orders here and the thin crust gets cooked that way” I said that it is certainly is not my fault that the pizzas were over cooked and I would like to be credited for both. She said her manager would be calling me back. The manager who refused to give his name, (was probably just another worker pretending to be the manager) continued to yell over me and try to argue that he cut the pizza himself and it was not burnt etc. Whoever the person is that claimed to be the manager of this location was incredibly rude again trying to tell me that it is not their fault the pizza was burnt. For the price of pizza huts food the carelessness and disrespect was outrageous.

Now I have a $20 credit since this is all they would provide with no choice but to use it at only this location by calling. I wish I knew the managers name so I could make sure myself and anyone else doesn’t order from any of his locations.

What a shame. Embarrassingly low standards...

I had an amazing experience with Pizza Hut last week that truly deserves a shoutout! I ordered a pizza for pick-up, but when I got back to my store, I realized the pizza was made incorrectly by mistake. I called the store to explain the situation, and the person on the phone (who I believe might be the manager) was incredibly understanding and cooperative.

I mentioned that I couldn’t leave my store again to pick up another pizza, and without hesitation, they offered to deliver the correct pizza to me. They went above and beyond to ensure I was happy with my order. Not many places nowadays provide such exceptional customer service, but this Pizza Hut nailed it.

As a business owner myself, I know how challenging it can be to deliver outstanding customer service, but they truly set a gold standard. The team was professional, kind, and efficient. I canceled my pick up order here after waiting about 30 minutes in the restaurant past when it should have been ready. In this time I watched the person making the pizzas assemble them with bare hands, press them down with his palms, touch phones, etc around the kitchen and run around on his own.

When I mentioned I'd like to cancel my order due to this, they offered to remake my pizza. I declined. I feel people should be aware about the poor hygiene standards here before ordering.

Additionally, doorways were blocked by garbage cans and drink machines and it overall lead to a very strange vibe. Would...
