Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Barrie

Two weekends in a row, the pizzas I ordered from this pizza hut arrived with zero care or effort put into the presentation. The cook either does not care about what they are putting out or they have no idea what they are doing.

$40 on two pizzas is already very expensive. The quality of these passed two orders does not reflect the price. The pizza is paper thin, the toppings were not spread out properly, It's cut poorly, and boxed violently enough that it misshapes the whole pizza. Some slices were almost folded in half from the center up.

The first order they wanted me to send pictures through email. Which promted me to just drive in to show them how messed up the pizzas were. They refunded and remade the pizzas, and the remakes were made properly and very quickly. The second order is when I made this reveiw because I shouldn't have to wait 45 mins for my pizza to get here. Realize its all messed up, call in to explain the problem, and email them pictures. Then, wait another 45 minutes for the pizza to come out again. The day after my review posted, they called me and gave me a $15 coupon I could use by calling in.

Edit: When I used the coupon, I went in to pick up the pizza. While I was paying, the manager who was very polite and apologetic. Asked me to change my review because of a statement I made saying, "It looks like a donkey made these pizzas." He didn't ask me to take it down or change the rating. Just to remove the insult. I’ve enjoyed ordering from this Pizza Hut for the past 3ish years, usually getting the triple treat box. But the last two orders I’ve placed here have been somewhat disappointing. My order a few weeks ago, although, I had it within my hands in 20 mins, one pizza was undercooked and the dough was moist and soggy, not with sauce but that raw uncooked dough and colour. I placed in the oven and cooked it a bit longer. My most recent order, the box wasn’t properly sealed with sticker, and the dipping sauces I had ordered, one was pierced didn’t noticed until I had opened it, and the other’s lid was not sealed correctly and about an inch could be moved allowing access to air and other contaminants. Most of my orders are around 730pm-9pm and on weekdays. So you may get better quality earlier during the day or on the weekend. I’ve had no issues with their chicken bites or wings, and the sauces have been good. I ordered the mozzarella sticks once, I was disappointed with the amount of sticks for the cost of them, especially when compared to the bread sticks or chicken bites/wings.

Overall I was on the fence about placing an order after the undercooked pizza, like it’s pizza how do you undercook it? Especially at a chain store with SOP’s and GMP’s or the equivalent. I enjoy the garlic sauce, (you can’t get it at pizza nova and toppers is different, but equally good.), but in my eyes these misshapes could be conclusive of diminished quality or care from the staff members, and would be best avoided for your food...

I had a long wait to make my order which is fine with protocols , but I was informed at 7 pm it would be 20 minutes.i had to keep asking if my pizza was ready so I needed to go back into the long lineup to see if it's ready. The lady begind the counter had no idea what was what or who was who. I ended up getting my food 745 and only after I asked the 3rd time and it was already in the finished oven. They need a helper at the counter to ensure the food is given to the customer as it's ready or some other system. That was very frustrating. Other point of concern I ordered a 14 inch pizza at full price and asked if I could order the 5.00 plus option. I was told it's no longer in place ,I asked why it's still being promoted in their front window and no response. I still ordered and paid for the large bread sticks but thought she was lying. I just received a notice promoting the 5 plus deal which tells me something is off here. I feel lied too and as a customer not a good...
