Food was pretty good, with the exception of the very bland spinach and artichoke dip. Tasted too much like over processed spinach. Needs some more flavoring and less time in the food processor. Couldn't even taste the artichoke. Portions were alright. A little on the expensive side for appetizers, average being like $15. Main dishes were priced slightly high but not to bad. Dessert was way over frozen. Had to use a knife to cut up the Ice cream. Ice cream should never ever be served in this fashion. Either the freezer has its temp settings way to low or that ice cream has been in that freezer for far to long (talking more than 30 days, which is a no no in the industry). Service was ok. Server wasn't that attentive, never came by for a food check-up. It wasn't very busy inside at all. Total of 10 tables with 3 servers, a manager, and a bartender. Food did however, arrive quickly and promptly, and hot. They did a great job with the social distancing and provided the right direction and spacing. (Mind you there was only 10 tables at the time). Read moreMy 95-year-old father wanted to take my husband and me out for dinner last night. I dropped my Dad off at the door with his walker, and by the time I parked and came in, Moe (the manager) and Marisa (our server) were already helping him get seated — such kindness right from the start!
It was hard to choose a meal because there were so many great options, but my Dad decided on the steak and also had a few specific requests. Marisa was so friendly, patient and attentive. When she noticed Dad struggling a bit to cut his steak, she quietly took it to the kitchen, and they cut it up for him - above and beyond!
Every dish we ordered (the Sirloin, Steak & Sushi, and the Teriyaki Rice Bowl) was absolutely delicious and full of flavour. We all finished with the Main St. Mocha Pie — oh my gosh, so good!
My father is a very picky eater and not one to hand out compliments easily. When he got in the car and said, “It sure is nice to leave a restaurant feeling like you got everything you could have wanted,” that spoke volumes. M

Read moreWe were just there for dinner this evening. I ordered the Fish & Chips simply because a neighbouring table had them and they looked good. I specifically asked if there was seasoning put on the fries and told yes at which time I asked for mine without. My partner ordered the Steak Salad; we were told it was the same steak as "the keg". My dinner arrived with seasoned fries; I tried one and couldn't eat them. The server did eventually come back and I said there was seasoning on the fries. At the same time I asked if the same seasoning was put in the fish batter because it had an odd taste and she said she would check and let me know. She did offer to replace the fries but I declined. She never did get back to me about the batter. Basically I ate a piece of bland fish with the batter removed and nothing else. The requested vinegar never did arrive.
