When BarBurrito first opened in Hunrantorio Plaza, I was genuinely thrilled — it’s one of my favorite burrito bowl chains. Since it’s just a few minutes’ walk from my workplace, it quickly became a popular lunch spot for many of us. The food used to be consistently fresh, the service friendly, and the overall experience excellent. However, over the last couple of months, the quality and service have declined noticeably. At first, we assumed it was just new staff settling in, but it’s become clear that standards have changed. The staff now often mention that certain items or options are no longer available, and the overall customer experience feels very different. Yesterday, my colleague and I ordered two bowls, and one of the sauces had a strange red streak in it. When we asked about it, the staff member said it was “just chili powder” and brushed it off without much concern. What made the interaction even more uncomfortable was noticing a man — who we later found out is the owner — sitting and closely watching the staff work. The employee seemed anxious and hesitant when we requested a replacement, which was quite unsettling to witness. Bar Burrito has quickly become my go-to spot for fresh and flavorful Mexican food, and a big part of that is thanks to the amazing staff, especially Parneet. From the moment you walk in, Parneet greets you with a warm and welcoming smile. She's incredibly patient, never rushing you to make a decision, and always ready to offer helpful recommendations based on your order. Her friendly demeanor truly enhances the entire dining experience.

Of course, the food is just as outstanding. The tacos and burritos are consistently delicious, packed with super fresh toppings that burst with flavor. I highly recommend trying the bang bang shrimp – it's absolutely amazing! And for those who like a little heat, their "Northern Reaper" Carolina reaper pepper sauce is a must-try. It's genuinely spicy, made with authentic Carolina reaper peppers, and adds a fantastic kick to any dish.

Update: I have had another bad experience at this location. My take out order was made late again even though I place my order ahead of time. My take out order was also not correct. I had to return to the restaurant to get the correct order because she had mixed up the orders. I would not recommend ordering ahead at this location, the customer service is not great and there are always delays. Very disappointed.

The food is great however it costs more for smaller portions seems. Also, the constant delay with our take out orders is frustrating. We take the time to order take out to save time, and unfortunately our order is rarely ready on time and more often it is just getting started when we arrive for pick up. Please do something about this constant delay, it is very frustrating to take the time to order take out and have to wait for our order to get started when we arrive.
