Hygiene should be the top priority for any food service establishment, but unfortunately, this location consistently falls short in that area.
I previously left a review addressing their poor hygiene practices, specifically how they handled the bananas. To their credit, they made some changes, and I was pleased to see an improvement. However, after taking a break from visiting this location, I returned only to find that they had reverted to their old, unsanitary habits.
I love their banana smoothie, but what I witnessed during my recent visit was unacceptable. The employee was on his phone—while wearing gloves. This might seem like a minor issue, but he didn’t change those gloves before preparing my smoothie. Who knows what those gloves had touched before handling the food? Especially after using a phone, where germs are abundant, changing gloves should be non-negotiable.
Is cross-contamination not a concern here? People have food allergies, and this kind of negligence could have serious consequences. Even worse, as more customers came in, he continued to use the same gloves.
I’m not going to bother reaching out via email again. I’ve already given them too many chances. The store knows better, yet they choose to ignore basic hygiene protocols.
From now on, I’ll avoid ordering anything that involves them touching the actual fruit. It’s disappointing, but my health isn’t...
Read moreSo this is a new branch, I recently moved back to brampton and was previously living in Guelph. They had a real fruit bubble tea branch in the Guelph mall (stone road mall) and I always got the mango diamond slush and it was always perfect, thick, creamy and large mango chuncks. In comparison, the same drink I ordered from this newly opened branch was extremely "watery" in comparison. I knew just by the lighter colour and shaking the cup (the drink had zero viscosity) that it wouldn't be the same drink, and sadly, it wasn't. The mango chuncks were a lot smaller too in comparison and the drink lacked the same level of flavor/sweetness. I guess they put less mango and more water/ice when making it (but I wasn't watching them make it so I can't say for sure why it's different). I also think they use different mangos that are less sweet (green ones instead of yellow). To their credit, they did re-make the drink when asked (although it still wasn't the same), and the store itself was very clean, well decorated, etc. The service was also nice, but I guess the employees are not trained properly on all the recipes? I didn't buy any other drink so maybe the other ones are better, but I don't think I'll come back to this branch again for a while (and hopefully they can improve their drinks/ingredients in the future to be same standard as...
Read moreNever had a issue with location till recently they have been canceling my orders and then closing the store on the app and then opening it back for like 5-10 minutes. I would then reorder within that time frame they would either not accept the order or they would but then the driver would cancel it. So I made it my duty to go the store yesterday to see like what’s really the issue. ONE they are busy so it understandable but, at the same time no because Im ordering way before the 8:10pm mark on the app and they close at 9 so they had no reason to not fulfill my order and then when I showed the girl what I wanted off the app she’s there smiling with the next guy because they know that order just came in and it isn’t the first time they have done it. 4 STARS cause I love real fruit I literally buy one everyday or other day! Considering that I seen they were backed up but , also has been an on going thing I’ll come back and update my rating but for now this is what it is.. the location is always clean , staff are usually nice and I’ve never had this problem till now .. I’m paying my money for your service so I’m really unsure what gives them the right to cancel orders for the sake of cancelling but Uber/DoorDash/Skip were designed to bring in extra revenue don’t lose that because your staff...
