Harvey's — Restaurant in Brampton

2 stars for being Harvey's still. My gripe like many places in brampton is that they act cheap with simple things like fries. We ordered a large poutine that comes in a big container and it was 40% filled even before the gravy made it sink (as we know with poutine your fries compact within minutes and the container looks less filled - by the time we got home it looked 30% filled)! The container is shaped like a bowl with the top bigger than the bottom...it was all air on top from the second it was made. Also, the person making the burgers did not wash her hands after sweeping the floor - she layed down the wax paper and then gloved up. With places struggling to survive these days...they had the option to provide great service and food or save money by reducing the quantity of food that was paid for by the customer and they...

There’s no option lower than 1 star. I’d like to say I could review the food however the order I placed for delivery on their (Harvey’s) website never arrived regardless of text message confirmation. Upon calling the location the individual was incredibly unhelpful, hung up on me numerous times and ultimately had no information for the person who “delivered” the order. Further to the locations lack luster service.. Their website has no contact information to mediate/ resolve online orders. They will take your money, not deliver the items and then say they can’t help you - not even for a refund. Certainly the last time I will deal with Harvey’s and the employee at this location needs training on their processes to resolve an issue, not try to shift blame and force you off...

Worker handled our burger bun with her bare hands after returning to the food station without washing hands. We complained and she said they aren't supposed to wear gloves when handling the buns. I told her if you're not using gloves you should be using tongs and even with gloves or tongs you should still be washing hands before returning to the food station. She continued to justify her actions so we just requested a refund and left. It's one thing to make a mistake but considering she took time to argue back about food safety requirements is shocking! Won't be eating here again which is disappointing because Harveys was the only fast food chain I eat still felt comfortable...
