Mary Brown's in Brampton is a franchise known for its good burgers, especially if you're in the mood for something spicy. Their spicy burgers have a reputation for hitting the spot, offering a satisfying blend of flavors that cater well to those looking for a kick in their meal. However, my recent visit left me somewhat disappointed, particularly with the quality of some of their other offerings.
The chicken roll I ordered was excessively oily, to the point where oil literally dripped out in bulk as I tried to eat it. This was not just a minor inconvenience but significantly detracted from the overall eating experience, making it less enjoyable than expected. Unfortunately, this issue wasn't confined to the chicken roll alone. The burger patties suffered from a similar problem. They were overly greasy, suggesting that the cooking process might not have been as careful or as attentive as it should be.
This experience gave me the impression that the staff, or perhaps the cook on duty, might have been in a rush to get orders out without putting in the necessary effort or attention to detail that is crucial for maintaining quality. Cooking, after all, is not just about getting the job done but doing it well, something that seemed to be overlooked during my visit.
While I have enjoyed Mary Brown's offerings in the past, and their spicy burgers continue to be a draw, my latest experience at the Brampton branch was underwhelming. It's my hope that this feedback serves as a constructive note, encouraging a reassessment of how their food is prepared and served. Quality control, especially in the fast-food industry, is paramount, and I believe that with some adjustments, the Brampton branch can live up to the high standards set by the Mary...

He then proceeded to cough into his hands, go to the back, put my biscuit in the oven (did NOT was his hands at all during this procedure or wear gloves) and cough again into the air and into his hands. He then took my biscuit out of the oven (still had yet to wash his hands) then put it into a smaller bag that went in the bad with the rest of my food.
When he handed me the bag of food, I took the bag with the biscuit out and left it on the counter. I then told him I did not want it as I saw that he did not wash his hands, was coughing etc. He told me he would make me a new one and I asked him if he was serious. After what I witnessed I was not taking anything else from him.
The rest of the food was fine as it was done by another employee who used tongs and washed her hands. I am flabbergasted and what I witnessed and wonder what he’s doing when people are not watching. I will NOT be going ...
Read moreEnjoy Mary Browns much more than Popeyes. They are much more consistent in the quality that you receive. The chicken is flavored more nice than their competitors. Their sandwich is much nicer, always fresh, crispy and juicy. And I've always found that the sandwich meat fills the sandwich nicely. However I prefer their classic spicy, which is just the regular chicken with spicy mayo. They used to add spicy season to the chicken before frying, but now their new spice powder is too spicy because they add liberally on the front and back of the chicken cutlet after frying plus spicy sauce. That spicy powder of theirs is fire 🔥. Luckily this store gave me some on the side so I could control the intensity. Their wedges are always amazing and gravy is flavorful. Definitely recommend trying them out. Mondays is big Mary Monday where their big marry sandwich is $3.99 awesome deal for a filling...
