I had one of the worst customer service experiences at this Pizza Hut location. When I arrived to place my order, I walked into a very uncomfortable situation where two employees—both of Indian descent—were loudly yelling at another customer in the store. From what I could gather, the issue was entirely due to their own service mistake, but instead of resolving it professionally, they chose to berate the customer in front of everyone. It created a tense and hostile environment.
After witnessing that, I approached the counter to place my own order, an employee came from the back and began handling my order and payment process. She did not wash her hands (it was super oily and crummy) or use sanitizer before touching the debit machine, keyboard, or the counter area. In today’s world, basic hygiene—especially in food service—is non-negotiable. It was unacceptable and frankly disgusting. Despite this, I still decided to proceed with my order. 😣 I was told to come back in 15 minutes.
30 minutes later, I came back to pick up only to find out that my pizza hadn't even been made. I had placed the order in advance and received a confirmation, so there was no excuse (I was actually happy they didn’t make the food). When I asked for a refund, the same two employees were dismissive and initially refused to return my money. I had to insist repeatedly before they reluctantly processed it.
To make matters worse, they made me wait an unreasonably long time before even acknowledging me. They were slow, inattentive, and made no effort to apologize for the delay or the missing order. I felt completely disrespected as a customer.
This location clearly lacks basic customer service skills and professionalism. The staff's attitude was not only rude but downright aggressive. If they can't handle customer interactions respectfully and calmly—especially when they’re at fault—they should not be working in a customer-facing role.
I do not recommend visiting this Pizza Hut, and I will not be returning. Management seriously needs to look into how this store is being operated and take appropriate action. Until then, avoid this location if you want hygienically prepared pizza, stress-free and respectful experience. The Public Health Units should come and do an investigation ensuring food safety, hygiene, and compliance with the Ontario Food Premises Regulation (O. Reg. 493/17) under the Health Protection and Promotion Act.

Read moreI don’t even know where to start. We were craving pizza and decided to order from this place, thinking it would be a safe, simple meal. Instead, we got boxes of burnt garbage that were barely recognizable as food. The crust was blackened to the point of being inedible, the cheese had a strange rubbery texture, and the toppings looked like they had been through a cremation. Honestly, it was disgusting. Not just disappointing — offensive.
We were EXTREMELY disappointed. We had guests over, everyone was hungry and expecting a good meal, and this is what we were served? A total letdown. We could have gone anywhere, but we trusted this place, and they completely ruined our evening. It's not like this was some cheap, budget order either — we paid a decent amount and expected something edible in return. What we got was something you'd throw away without a second thought.
The food was extremely expensive and to make matters worse, when we called to complain, we were met with attitude instead of help. A girl named Ramen picked up the phone and immediately got defensive. She didn’t apologize, didn’t sound the least bit concerned, and flat-out refused to offer a refund. She kept insisting that it was somehow OUR fault — that we must have left the boxes closed too long, or that "burnt is how some people like it." Are you serious? We sent photos. We explained everything clearly. Still, she refused to take responsibility.
Then, as if that wasn’t enough, she tried to deflect the issue by telling us we could “take it up with the store manager.” Fine. But when we asked for the number, she gave us a contact for the US store manager. What are we supposed to do with a US number? Call across the world to complain about burnt pizza? How is that even remotely helpful? It felt like she was just trying to get rid of us instead of actually solving the issue.
It’s one thing to mess up an order — mistakes happen — but it’s how you handle it that matters. And this place clearly has no interest in treating customers with basic respect or decency. From the horrible food to the even worse customer service, it was a complete disaster from start to finish. Ramen’s smug attitude and refusal to own up to the problem just made everything worse.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE FOR YOUR OWN SAKE. Don’t waste your money, your time, or your appetite here. There are plenty of other options out there — ones that won’t burn your food to a crisp and then blame you for it....
Read moreI usually do not jump to leaving negative reviews without first trying to resolve things directly, but my recent experience with this Pizza Hut outlet has been beyond disappointing.
I had ordered a box deal where the pizza base was undercooked, very chewy, and caused indigestion the next day. The breadsticks were hard and seemed overheated. Wanting to resolve this properly, I called at their store (10088 McLaughlin Rd #12) to report the issue.
During that call, I spoke with a woman named Raman who, after hearing my complaint, voluntarily offered a store credit equal to the amount I had paid. I did not ask for compensation; she offered it as a resolution.
The next day, I called to use that credit, referencing the previous conversation. To my shock, the person on the call denied any such offer and even claimed no one named Raman worked there. I was told to call again in 24 hours so they could “verify” the details.
I followed up as instructed and mentioned I had spoken with a woman named Niharika. This time, the store manager answered — and not only refused to give her name, but also insisted there was no one named Niharika either. When I asked why the names I mentioned kept being denied, she openly admitted that the staff use fake names.
That admission alone was troubling, but what followed was worse. I again explained the full situation, including the call timestamps and durations I had saved. Still, she refused to acknowledge that any such call had been made. Instead of trying to resolve the issue, the manager was rude, dismissive, and immediately defensive rather than open to listening or helping.
I am left wondering — does company policy at Pizza Hut not include basic honesty and customer service? If a customer is served a poorly prepared meal, is complete denial and refusal to help really the standard way of handling it?
This franchise is being run in an unprofessional and frankly deceptive manner. Denying staff identities, refusing to honor promises made by their own team, and treating customers with disregard is unacceptable.
I am completely disgusted with the service I received and urge Pizza Hut to take immediate action against this outlet. No customer should be...
