The Great Canadian Bagel — Restaurant in Brampton

This was hands down the nastiest experience I've had while ordering food. First off the server behind the counter was incredibly rude zero she was angry with my companion when she requested that her vegetarian sandwich be made on a clean surface after we witnessed the previous customers get their sandwiches made and jot a single surface was wiped off. She requested that someone else make her sandwich which they abided by. An older man came out who proceeded to COUGH on every single one of the ingredients she requested to go on her sandwich. I had ordered a BLT I watched this man cough on my sandwich slice it then proceed to attempt to slice her vegetarian sandwich with the exact same knife. I stopped him told him that wasn't appropriate as he was cross contaminating by using the same knife. This man had the gull to look us in the eyes and tell us he washed it. We were watching him the whole time not only did this man wash nothing but he was coughing all over the place without trying to cover his mouth once. We had no choice but to leave and I have not the slightest clue how there were customers there still eating after witnessing all of that. Absolutely disgusting.

ETA: I am absolutely tickled by the owner's response to my comments to blantly lie about their staff's actions is absolutely laughable why in the world would anyone lie about their food being coughed on? I watched the older male employee cough on my and my friend's order multiple times he never once made an attempt to cover his mouth or step away from the food he coughed straight on it and to insinuate that we were problematic from the get go? Your female employee was incredibly rude to my friend after asking for a vegetarian sandwich. She cross contaminated her food and she had no choice but to request another employee make her food because the absolute disrespect she was displaying in front of her. I hope to god you guys get a surprise inspection in the near future or...

So I went in today for the first time. I was told that 8 Bagels and cream cheese container is on special for $16.50 or something. I decided to get 6 Bagels and a tub of cream cheese.. thinking it would obviously be if less or about $16.50. Then the owner told me about speciality Bagels being more expensive when I asked about the onion and cheese bagel so I said no thanks. It was $2 more for each Bagel however I was good with my 6 everything Bagels. Then the owner said im adding these two speciality Bagels for you.. you try them you will love them! So at this point I thought hes being very sweet and wants to offer 2 free bagels because it's past their closing time and so I said aww thanks. However when it came time to pay... I was charged $22.50. As there were other customers waiting I walked out still wondering how my total came to that amount. It's not about spending $6 extra dollars then I imagined but why or how I was charged. So I decided to call them and ask... at that point the guy told me that I purchased 2 speciality Bagels so I had to pay extra. How does me saying no thanks mean I want to get them? And even then how does my total get to $22.50. Maybe I'm missing something when im doing the math? Once again, it's not about the $4 or $6 more dollars because I genuinely went in to try the bagels not even thinking about how much I'd...

I recently visited a bagel shop over the weekend to try their viral bagels that have been all over TikTok and Instagram. I tried two different bagels with cream cheese, and both were fantastic.

First, I had the Hot Tommazo bagel with jalapeño cream cheese. It was the perfect mix of spice and flavor, with a creamy and smooth mouthful of cream cheese. We added tomatoes, onions, lettuce, and chicken salad, making it a grand and satisfying meal, enough for an average person's one-time meal.

Second, I tried the cheddar Jalapeño bagel with vegetable cream cheese. This bagel was a bit spicy, but the vegetable cream cheese made it so flavorful that it was out of this world. We also added lettuce, tomato, and chicken salad to this one. The chicken salad is one of the best-tasting fillings they offer, and the taste of the bagels is marvelous. The best part is that everything can be customized according to the customer's needs.

This experience reminded me of the old days of eating bagels in Montreal. Highly recommend...
