Read moreI visited this restaurant for the second time because it’s close to my home and offers decent food. However, I had an issue with their billing practice. They bring water bottles to the table along with the menu and then charge for them on the bill. On my first visit, I paid for the bottles even though I didn’t consume them. During today’s visit, they brought three water bottles for our group of three, but we didn’t touch them as we had ordered other beverages on the menu. However, when I checked the bill, I noticed they had charged for two water bottles. I pointed this out to the server, but she acted as if she didn’t realize we hadn’t consumed the water. I explained that the bottles were placed on the table near where we were handing the payment terminal, and that multiple servers had visited our table. The server advised me to check the bill before paying. I told her that it shouldn’t be my responsibility to ensure I’m being charged correctly—especially for something so trivial, but it’s about fairness and ethics. Charging for items that weren’t consumed is dishonest, and if they’re willing to do that in front of customers, I wonder what else they might be cutting corners on behind the scenes. It’s disappointing that a restaurant name like Zimidar resorts to these small unethical practices. It may only be a few dollars, but it speaks volumes about their values. Shame...
Read moreI’m writing this remark after 10 days. The reason is simple. I visit this restaurant often with family and friends. I wanted them to explain for such a bad service provided on our special occasion Saturday 24th. Over 10 calls to the restaurant and I have not found the name of the manager or the owner. Staff will not provide the name or they say to call back at odd hours and then the manager will be available. Surprisingly when you call they are not there. I had finally got a name to talk to who they said was a manager “Komal” when she answered today she said” I am not a manager” and told me to hold. After a brief hold, she came back to answer the phone and said I am the manager. I am not sure what is going on. All I’m asking is I was in the side room with the party of 22. Celebrating our birthday. I was embarrassed in front of my guest for the service I was provided on your second anniversary of your restaurant, which was also going on at the same time. My asking is whoever the manager or the owner you have a camera in that room Have a look at the service and explain to me why my party was ruined. Where is the ownership or the management when it comes to...
