My partner and I dined here on Saturday August 10 around 6:30PM. The place was bustling - hard to find parking nearby, we had to go underground in the free parking lot. Luckily, we did not need a reservation, there were still some free tables. We were seated right away. This restaurant has a nice terrace area and outdoor seating, it is very spacious. We noticed that the doors to the outside were open the whole time, so the temperature inside was not very cool. Decor is modern, simplistic, dark. Almost like tavern style. The lighting is dim and atmosphere very loud. They have beautiful bathrooms with individual stalls and very large sinks, you control the flow with a foot pedal. Food wise - We ordered a large ribeye type steak served with fries which was $59 and a surf and turf plate which consisted of a lobster roll, ribs and fries, this was $39. I wish Lucille's offered complimentary bread or something to start with like other restaurants do, but there wasn't any of that. Everything is an extra. Most main meals don't even come with sides so those are added costs. My partner recently dined at the Pointe Claire Fairview location and said he had a much better experience there. The food was tastier, more seasoned and cooked well. The steak here wasn't as tender - there were lot of fatty bits that were inedible. He tasted my ribs and said they were "off". I didn't have much to compare it to, it was my first time and I did enjoy the ribs and lobster roll - they were flavorful, but the roll itself was quite small. I was expecting a more generous portion considering the price. You do get a lot of fries at least, these will fill you up. They are small shoestring type fries - a bit too crispy for my liking. I didn't like that they placed the fries directly under the ribs so these were all coated in bbq sauce and soggy by the time I got to them. We did not opt for any special drinks or deserts- these were in the $15-$20 range, overpriced and unnecessary if you had a full meal. When came time to pay, I had Lucilles gift cards which seemed to cause some confusion or problem with our server. He wasn't able to access the funds and had to ask for help and come back 2 or 3 times to scan the cards. This was a bit embarassing, made us feel like it was a big hassle and having other patrons look at us like our cards were rejecting when there was nothing wrong wasn't the best experience. Combined service, food, atmosphere and pricing, it was an average experience. Nothing that made us say wow, so likely won't be back at this location.

In this study, we compared 3 different steaks as friends and all got a bite from each other's steak. The participants (we) are not professional gourmets, however had many steaks before. The steaks compared were Kansas Cut (16oz - $52), NY Strip (10oz - $38), and Ribsteak (16oz - $56). Food: Great food, grilled really nice. Kansas had less fat, hence less flavour and was cut thinner as compared to Ribeye. Ribeye had a lot of fat, hence grear flavour. By far, more tasteful than NY Strip and more tender. It was cut thicker than Kansas cut and therefore more juicy and fun to eat. Kansas Cut is probably what you go with if you want to eat healthier (less fat) and still get decent flavor. My personal choice would be ribeye steak because I do not mind the fat and like to have the best taste and intense flavor possible 10/10. Service: OK because we came in here with a reservation on time. Had to wait for 15-20 mins at the door. They are probably double-booking. Wine recommendation was not so good. On the other hand, food was served really fast so that's good. Atmosphere: Pretty good, nicely decorated. Music was not too loud, we enjoyed our stay.

Just came back from here and can barely move. I am so stuffed. Had the bang bang shrimps, and they kicked off the food party with a bang. It came with a red cabage coleslaw, which the wife enjoyed, but I didn't due to the sesame oil that was sprinkled on. Washed all that down with Lucille's IPA, a light IPA that was easy to drink. Had the chateaubriand steak plate for 2 with my wife. Sides of cheesy mashed patatoes and fries. The steak was too die for. Done to perfection, cooked exactly how we requested. Mashed patatoes wow.....and here comes the only negative thing I have to say. The fries are McCain shoestring fries. If I were the chateaubriand steak, I would have been insulted being placed beside those fries. I brought this up to the waiter who was awesome, and he agreed that the fries were sub-par but that other customers enjoyed them. I understand bro you gotta protect the brand. A suggestion to the chef or whoever decides what fries to put out. Maybe consider quality steak cut fries with a pinch of seasoning on top. All in all, I will be going back for sure. I will just avoid the fries.

Detailed review from entrance to exit!

Walk in and we were well recieved at the front, we were escorted to our table within a couple of minutes not the table or section I requested but I said it's a saturday first one without vaxxpass full house, I understand

Drinks were good and well priced within the market we took tequila straight all night so can't comment on their cocktails

Oysters, PEI Oysters were a letdown, it is obvious there's no quality control on what makes it to a table some of those shells had barley any oysters in them. The raspberry oysters were very good! Hopefully because they were almost quadruple the price of PEI.

Fried calamari, by far one of the worst fried calamari I've ever ordered at a restaurant. You're getting 15 to 20 rings of frozen, tiny calamari at the price of what juicy fresh ones should be! I was really looking forward to this appetizer but it proved to be a huge expensive letdown.

Main course, I went for the rib steak and my date went for the steak and shrimps. Highlight of the dish the fries!!! They were amazing!! My first bite of the rib steak was mouthwatering and I was thinking oy yeah here's where they're gonna knock it out of the park. Unfortunately by my 4th bite I realized this rib steak was nothing but fat with marbled meat around it and not the other way around as it should be. I can't speak for the shrimps because I didn't try them but the NY steak my date had was tough which again was surprising for a place that claims they have "quality meat"

The vibe of the place was fun it reminded me of a "La belle et la boeuf" but with a price tag attached that makes no sense!

For a 235$ bill for 2 people before tip I honestly and truly expected way better quality of food!!

Is this the result of inflation now? Mediocre food for premium prices?

This was my first visit to a Lucille's after hearing all the hype since before the pandemic! Unfortunately it did not live up to any of the hype except for the ambiance! Oh...

Fantastic Experience at Lucille’s – Perfect for a Special Night Out!

I recently visited Lucille’s at the Dix30 shopping mall with a friend to celebrate her birthday, and we had an amazing evening! The restaurant was buzzing with energy on a Friday night, and we were glad we made a reservation because it was quite full. Thankfully, we were seated in a great spot, and both the hostess and our server were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout the night. (Make sure you get a reservation if you are going at the peak times on a Friday or Saturday evening).

The atmosphere was lively but not overwhelming — there was great music playing, but we could still easily have a conversation, which we really appreciated.

As for the food, it was absolutely excellent! We both ordered seafood dishes which were fresh and perfectly cooked, but I also noticed a wide variety of tempting steak options on the menu. The wine selection was impressive, and our server was helpful in recommending a great pairing. Timing-wise, everything arrived with perfect pacing — appetizers and mains were well spaced out, and we never felt rushed.

We didn’t try dessert or coffee this time, but the options looked fantastic and will definitely be something to check out on our next visit.

The only minor downside was the parking — it was a bit crowded, and we had to park in another section of the mall, about a 400-meter walk away, but this was a Friday night and it seemed to be the busiest time for the mall. On other days or times, parking is much easier. Still, it was absolutely worth it for the dining experience.

All in all, Lucille’s delivered on all fronts — great service, amazing food, and a lovely vibe for a special night out. I’ll definitely be...
