If you’re looking for a fun experience with pretty cool atmosphere then this will be a good option for you! First off, the place is beautiful and all the imagery on the walls and floor is super cool! Secondly, the staff are all very helpful and explain everything to you very nicely and the service is quick and they do not rush you at all which is nice. The food, was decent but did not blow us away however we chalked it up to it being a new restaurant and they will probably tweak the food once they get more feedback. The sushi was tasty and good selection, the grilled meats also had a good selection to choose from and the sauces at the tables were a nice touch. In my case, I’m not the usual demographic for a place like this as I don’t eat a lot of meat and am not crazy about sushi so I usually stick to fried rice, noodles and dumplings at these places while my husband and son get their fill on the sushi. These options weren’t the greatest here and could be improved on but it definitely wasn’t a deal breaker as the rest of the positives helped make this place a fun place to dine. If you go, definitely check out the wall and floor near the restrooms- when you touch the wall there is a really cool ripple effect and it even reacts visually as you step on the walkway. Pretty neat. Overall a fun experience....
Read moreIf I could to give 0 star I would. This is the worst BBQ all you can eat I have ever been. And I have never written 1-star review before, this is the first time.
About quality: The shrimp and seafood were not fresh, you could taste them fishy when grilled. None of them tasted good.
About the experience: Order were very slow, fire is extremely slow. You need to cook a chicken thigh for 20 mins to eat it. (Keeping in mind that you have a 2-hour limit). Grilling a very thin sliced beef is going to take you 10 mins. For the entire 2h-session, we were only able to eat about 10 slice of meat. This is more like a sushi ayce instead of a bbq ayce because you will not able to fill up your stomach by eating the bbq here due to the low quality fire and grill. The price definitely does not match the price.
You could maybe spend more money on the grill instead of the decoration just for the overhype. Will never come back and I won’t recommend this place to anyone.
Update: the bill was 240$ for three people. After the minimum 18% tip. The three of us were all feeling unwell after eating. Two of us had diarrhea + one...
Read moreWe went on a Sunday night, so it was $59.95 per person. Pretty busy for saint Jean weekend, reservation is recommended.
Meats/BBQ: you have a variety of meat options, which is nice. The portions are small, the slices are thin so it cooks fast.
The marinated lamb is a joke, the pieces were so tiny, they were falling through the grill.
Salt and pepper shrimp: flavor was good but it was stale, the fried part was soggy and falling off the shrimp. ( no bueno)
The corn cheese is just that. No cream, no mayo, just corn n cheese = no flavor / it’s bland
Edit: Sushi - the rice is well seasoned and the texture is perfect. The fish is fresh. However, the chefs need to work on their rolling and presentation… as you can see from the photo, the roll is falling apart and uneven looking. Not super appetizing, but it was still tasty.
The lamb chops were very flavourful, cumin spiced. The various cuts of beef were pretty good overall, a decent ratio of fat and muscle.
Service was top notch, a really great team working in tandem. Sadly it’s not enough for me to come back or recommend it, for $150+ I’ll go...
