Tau Markets — Restaurant in Brossard

Nov 20 2021: Again I ended up with bad produce. This was the worst time. I bought two bags of nectarines. Next day I took out a few, washed them and started to peel them but noticed they had gone bad inside. When I checked the others in the bag I realized they were moldy.(see photo). There were two other bags with moldy nectarines but I thought the two I chose were okay. They also had about a dozen fuji apples with mold on the bottom. I filled out the webform two weeks ago and haven't received a response. I go to use my points then I will not go back to Tau; Avril and others have better quality produce. Update: This place has really gone downhill. They still have alot of quality products, however the produce on sale is often spoiled or on the verge of being spoiled. There are usually pricing errors or missing price tags. Plus it closes way too early on weekends so I end up buying organic items at Maxi, Metro or IGA. *Great selection of quality food and organic items. I went to the store with my mother-in-law this afternoon around 3:30 p.m. because she wanted to purchase vitamins. They offer seniors for 10% of supplements from Mon to Wed so when we checked out, I asked her to show her medical card to the sales girl who said why there is no pic on it. I explained to her that the seniors have option to choose not take pic. She didn't believe me and stared at me and said I was lying to her and just want to take the senior benefits. Therefore, I was really angry and told her that I wanted to see her Manager. She completely ignored me and told me to respect her. Actually she accused me lying to her & showed no respect to the customer. She is very impolite that made me really furious. She has to be well trained as she insulted the customer lying her age in order to take advantage of the rebate. ...

What a disappointing experience at TAU Brossard!, Products are already over priced but I always made an effort to support my local market. This is the second time I came to this store and the price was scanned higher than was stated on the shelf. There was no mistake, because there were only 2 items left (coconut sugar), CLEARLY priced at $5.99!. It scanned at $9.49. A person I think was the manager, was called to the cash, and started talking nonsense, trying to explain. The policy is to give the customer the lower price that was stated on the shelf. He didn't! What a loser!, I've spent so much money at that store!, the disrespect showed to the customer was unacceptable! never again!, I'll try Avril!
