June 12 2020: We ordered from this pizza place through skip. On the app, there is the option to create your own pizza. There, you can either select cheese or select double cheese. I have a severe dairy allergy, so I did NOT select either cheese option since logically, it would indicate to the restaurant to OMIT cheese. After picking up the pizza, we noticed there was cheese on it. I called the restaurant to notify them there was a mistake in the order, and the manager answered and was immediately rude and combative with me. I tried to explain to him that I had not wanted or selected cheese for the pizza and had received it, and informed him of my severe dairy allergy. The manager was aggressive over the phone, consistently interrupting me to tell me that I was the one who made the mistake because I did not put “no cheese” in the special instructions and refused to listen to me or even show respect for the person he was yelling at. I told him I haven’t eaten the pizza and I’ll return it if he just makes a new one, and this is when he began using profanities: “if you didn’t want cheese, you should have used the f*ing skip to say so” and “I’m not making you another pizza”. I confronted him about swearing at me and he said “I don’t care, call skip!” He continued to yell at me, refusing to listen to me as I tried to reason with him until he hung up. I didn’t expect the man to profusely apologize, but he didn’t even show the slightest bit of respect, and speaking to a customer like this is unbelievable. I personally will no longer bd supporting this establishment with my money. Awful experience.
Edit: I would like to add that the owner was being extremely rude and began using “bad language” (refer to above^) and when my boyfriend overheard, he took over the phone and their conversation escalated. Read moreI just moved to the neighborhood and decided to try this place out despite the mixed reviews on their customer service. I would say that the specials are pretty reasonable from a price point perspective.
That being said, it would be nice to see a specialty pizza deal set up online. I wanted two specialty pizzas, but I had to order them separately as there was no option in any of the deals to do so. There is also no option to order just a single topping pizza by itself, without getting all the other dips and stuff. I thought that was a bit odd.
As for the pizza itself, I would have to say it was fresh, hot, and came in a hurry.
I would also have to say that the chicken shawarma pizza was a bit underwhelming and lacked some of the flavours I was expecting from the pictures on the website. This pizza could really have benefited from some authentic garlic sauce and hot sauce on top (as advertised on the website) to make it taste a bit more like the ones I've tasted in the past. The pizza that was delivered (second picture) just tasted like a bland chicken and tomato pizza. Maybe they just forgot the sauce?

Read moreSome of the worst customer service I have ever encountered. My girlfriend and myself have tried to order pizza from this location numerous time. I am unsure why we did not learn our lesson after the first time.
First encounter we tried to get a deal that included Garlic bread. We were told garlic bread was sold out. When asked what they can give us instead to substitute for the bread (as the deal included it in the price) we were told we would not get anything to substitute and it would be the same price.
Second encounter, we ordered a special and the price came out to be $5.00 more expensive then the website. When we asked why, the person on the phone said the website is wrong and out of date, and that the price we were given was fair...
Third encounter, we tried ordering a special again. They told us delivery would be 50min. After 90min we called back, they said the pizza would be there soon. After another 20min, we called back and were told the pizza will be there when it’s there. Needless to say, we cancelled immediately.
I have never experienced customer service like this, and would strongly suggest avoiding this...
