Mayjjana Restaurant & Lounge — Restaurant in Burlington

Went to this restaurant the 2nd time around & our experience was disappointing to the extent that we are never going to visit this place again. Ordered a skewer and khaboos & both were ice cold when the food arrived. It took us 10 mins to find the server to request him to make the food hot. Heating / re-heating the food took another 20 mins and when the food arrived it was tasteless and one of the worst arabic food we have eaten. The service on top of this was pathetic as we were charged twice for the shisha which was removed only after we brought it to their notice, followed by us being ignored on multiple occasions for charcoal change & the same was finally changed when we had paid the bill after a wait of 20 mins . If the restaurant doesn’t respect its repeat customers & gives such a pathetic service along with tasteless food then I really dont know how they would treat a 1st...

My guess is they have plenty of friends and family providing 5 star reviews. They give priority to specific customers and leave the rest without any service.

This last time we just went, I had to get up from my table and walk up to them to request service four separate times in the hour and a half that we were there, including our first order when we sat down.

Also the server mean-mugging us when we’re ordering and in the same instant laughing and smiling to other “preferred” clients. It felt like we were less valued because we didn’t speak Arabic.

It’s a shame because I was basically a regular but I’m just tired of the wait/non-existent service with no smiles or any kind of friendliness.

I am a happily paying customer for the bare minimum of service and even brought them new customers on multiple occasions but I think that’s it for me, not going back, thanks...

ive been to many shisha places all over Ontario and nothing compares to this one. I got the whole package entering this lounge. the food is incredible and so filling. I haven't had proper Arabic food In sooo long until I visited this place. this shisha is wow. the flavour and everything about the shisha is exactly the way how any person would want it. the workers and owners are so welcoming and friendly. always smiling and giving us the best customer experience. im really glad I know about this place and I will continue to come here and make it my new weekend spot. the best part is they also care about our health and safety as well but at the same time they make sure we are having a wonderful time.
