We hosted a baby shower at Mughal Spice for more than 40 people including kids. We are so happy to go ahead with them because the owner, Anil is very helpful and kind. The food was great, no doubt about that. The service too. But the co-ordination for prepping for the event to co-ordinating the decoration, everything was done so smoothly by the owner. He is always available via message/call to resolve your queries. He was very generous and asked us to choose from the menu, gave us no restrictions on the number of items or anything. He was very accommodating to our wishes too. He was also very patient with us while we tasted food items before the event. The food is top class without any doubt, whatever you choose from the menu. Anil curated special menu for the kids which included fries, idly and dosa. It was his idea and the mothers were so happy that we had a special menu for the kids which was fulfilling and tasty at the same time. Well the quantity was so much that the adults also tasted them.

All our guests were super happy with the food and the service. Few items like malai soya chap, malai kofta, hakka noodles, dum biryani were so good that our guests were just amazed to have them tasted in Canada. They literally remembered their favorite restaurants back in India. If you are looking to host an event, look no further. We had an absolutely wonderful dining experience enjoying some of the best Indian cuisine we’ve had in a long time. The Chicken Tandoori was perfectly charred on the outside while remaining juicy and flavorful on the inside — the smoky aroma paired with the balanced mix of spices was just outstanding. The Chicken Karahi was another highlight — rich, bold, and deeply aromatic, with a perfect blend of freshly ground spices that gave it a delightful kick without being overpowering.

The Dal Mizaz Tadka was comfort in a bucket — well-seasoned, and just the right amount of spices to warm the soul. And the Garlic Naan? Crispy yet perfectly thin and soft, and generously topped with fresh garlic and herbs — it paired beautifully with every dish.

Beyond the incredible food, the restaurant's ambience was warm, inviting, and just the right mix of traditional and contemporary decor. It was easy to relax and enjoy the evening.

A special shoutout to Anil and Pankaj, who went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. Their hospitality was exceptional — they took the time to understand our preferences and ensured we felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout our meal. Their passion for great service truly stood out.

We were very pleased. My husband and I came for a quiet lunch on Thursday March 7.

Jaspreet waited on us. She was lovely - she was welcoming, and answered questions patiently, and she was very kind. It's an attractive, clean place, and we liked the muted music in the background - East Indian.

The service was VERY prompt.

I think this is an independent restaurant, which we really appreciate. All the dishes are apparently made onsite.

We shared 4 appetizers, and that was plenty for the 2 of us. I'm a very good home cook, and I know that everything we had was freshly-made.

We especially enjoyed the Channa Masala, and the happily non-greasy yet crispy vegetable samosas. And the Aloo Tikki, too. The pakora were a touch hot, but had we asked, perhaps they might have been milder. We can't drink alcohol for health reasons, but had we had a cold beer, it wud have been a perfect patch to the pakora. Next time we'd order the cucumber raita as a coolant.

Our only small disappointment was that the Indian tea wasn't available today at lunch. Though the tall bottle of water was really good! We usually have RO water at home and the water here was just as nice. None of that flat flavour that one can often find at restaurants.
