Today, I had the opportunity to dine at Nai Restaurant with my family for their buffet lunch. Right from the moment we walked in, I was impressed by the restaurant's interior. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with comfortable seating and tasteful decor setting a relaxed meal tone. This positive atmosphere certainly kicked off our dining experience on the right foot.
However, the excitement was somewhat tempered by the price point. At $55 per person for the buffet, not including drinks, I found the cost higher, especially compared to other local establishments offering similar buffet options. Given this premium price, I expected a broader selection and higher quality in the dishes provided.
The buffet featured a range of Iraqi and Syrian dishes, which piqued our curiosity. Unfortunately, the lack of labels for the various items made understanding what we were eating challenging, a significant oversight for a buffet. As for the taste, while the overall flavour was average, a couple of standout dishes caught my attention. The kebabs were particularly well-seasoned and had a nice char, and the whole lamb served with rice was tender and flavorful. However, I was disappointed to find the chicken wings served cold, which affected my enjoyment of that dish. If I had to rate the food, I’d say more effort in presentation and an expanded variety would go a long way in justifying the price.
Customer service was decent but lacked the attentiveness one might expect in a higher-end restaurant. For instance, we had to request essential items like water rather than having them offered proactively. A more engaged and attentive service approach could significantly enhance the dining experience.
Additionally, Nai Restaurant has a party hall, which is an excellent feature for hosting larger gatherings or special occasions. An unexpected aspect was the availability of shisha, which I found a bit out of place for a family dining setting. I prefer to dine in a non-smoking area, especially with family, as it can detract from the overall dining experience.
In conclusion, while Nai Restaurant has the framework for a great dining experience, it requires improvements in several key areas: enhanced service, greater variety in food options, clear labelling of dishes, and a stronger focus on food quality and presentation. With these enhancements, Nai could evolve into a truly satisfying dining destination that justifies its...

Wow so disappointed by the food and service. It was a Sunday night so was very empty but still it took 10 min before we got our menus. I had to ask for water 2 times before we actually got some. Then finally the food came. I specially ordered chicken because I cannot eat lamb and my rice had lamb in it. The waiter was told who said he will check with the kitchen. Then he never came back to tell me what they will do so as I looked at him he made a face at me like why are you looking at me. After calling him over he said very rudely the cook is making you more rice and I said ok sorry but if you didn’t tell me how will I know. Then as I waited I figured ok I will eat the chicken kabab. However as soon as I took one bite it tasted like lamb. I called the waiter again to ask if any lamb was mixed in it or any lamb fat was used or if it was cooked on the same grill as the lamb becuase it had a lamb smell and taste . He said no no it’s chicken. My friend tried it as well and she is a professional cook and she said it had the lamb fat in it or it was cooked on the same grill as the lamb. He then went to the kitchen and said I will get you the chicken pieces . By this time all other guest at my table were done eating so I had to get my food packed. My friend asked about the rice having lamb in it and if it always does because she came the day before and it was plain rice. The waiter then said the rice he gave us was from the buffet they had the night before. He said they wanted to finish that rice that’s why they gave us that. My concern is that they are serving lamb to people who do not order it. I know for a fact the chicken had some sort of lamb fat mixed in it to make it stick. I just wish they would be honest. Some people have dietary restrictions or religious reasons why they won’t eat certain meats. The only plus was the restaurant was pretty. Oh and on the way out the girl at the front was so busy on her cell phone that while we waited at the front for a few minutes getting our keys out I asked if she had a bag we could put our food in and she said no not here. What she should have said was no but I can grab you one. I guess her phone call was...

Overall Rating: \star\star\star\star\star (1 Star - If I could give zero, I would) Our visit to NAI RESTAURANT was an absolute catastrophe, a complete waste of our time and, crucially, our money. We spoke to the cashier, Hiyam, who knew we hadn't eaten since breakfast, and she promised to start the service immediately. It took half an hour to bring incomplete appetizers, and then a full hour to bring the rest. We were still eating appetizers when we should have been moving on to dinner. Four Hours of Deliberate Ignorance: The waitress "Hiyam" completely vanished until midnight! During this time, we watched with our own eyes as the main course was served to every single table around us, even people who arrived an hour or more after we did. People were eating, celebrating, and dancing while we were left sitting, starving! The Shameless Lie: When I finally called her over at midnight to cancel the dinner after four hours of waiting, she delivered a shocking explanation: "You did not have a prior reservation, and that is why you will not get your dinner until after everyone else Why Were We Not Told?!
