Worst McDonalds I've ever been to.
They never fail to screw up my orders; One time ordered multiple egg mcmuffins and they didn't have EGG in them!
Another time I ordered 2 coffees, one with milk and one was regular (1 cream, 1 sugar). When I got home I took a sip and nearly threw up. Upon opening the lid the coffee was nearly white from the amount of cream in it, and there had to have been at least 5 sugars inside. Before giving the other one to my relative (who has a sugar allergy) I opened it and it looked the same as mine. I took a sip and it had the same amount of sugar content in it. I called the restaurant and told them the problem and they weren't very receptive to my concern. "Just come back and get it fixed" she said. I reiterated the issue, and said I live too far to just "come back". Their attitude was that I was causing more of an inconvenience to them, then they were me.
Another time at the drive-thru I ordered a McNugget happy meal and a cheeseburger meal came up on the screen. I clarified that I'm ordering McNuggets and the employee said it is a glitch on the screen, and rest-assured I will be getting McNuggets. Again at the window I confirmed and she said she has McNuggets. Sure enough when my meal came it was a cheeseburger.
Another time I ordered a grilled chicken meal at the drive-thru. When the meal came I double-checked and it was breaded chicken, not grilled. I went inside and told the manager the order was wrong and emphasized that the chicken was for a person with gluten intolerance and the breaded chicken would pose a danger by the person consuming it. The manager was unconcerned, and unapologetic. She came back with the grilled chicken and said "I replaced the other fries that went cold while u were waiting. I gave u fresh hot fries instead" like she was doing me a service. ...
Read moreOrdered a BLT bagel with a double order of very crispy bacon. Once I got back home and after opening my breakfast if contained: a buttered bagel with an egg, tomato, lettuce that was brown and spotted and 1 piece of bacon that was pretty much raw. Needless to say, I traveled the 2 miles back to McDonald's and asked to speak with the manager. He could barely speak audible English and asked if I wanted leafy lettuce instead of romaine??? I explained to him that this was not what I had order and that I wanted the BLT with 2 straps of well cooked bacon. When he didn't understand my order, I requested my money back. He proceeded to give me back $5.25. I said no, as I had paid $9.00 for my order. I a so tired of going thru drive thru's and being scammed. They have employees discussing what they did the night before instead of giving the customer proper service. This is unacceptable and should never ever be tolerated. There were so many customers standing in line to either place their order or receive it. The manager actually had to ask the kid to do his job and serve me instead of chatting with another co-worker.
I won't be going back.
And if Ralph and Susan Sgro own this franchise as their family owns 10 between them in Burlington and Waterdown, they should be informed that they have incompetent employees and managers at their Fairview and Applby...
Read morePlaced an order through the drive thru this weekend. I wanted to pay with my points. Got to the window only to argue with the guy at the window who told me our total came to $28.38. I told him that I had told the girl who took the order that we would like to pay with our points. "Oh I don't think we can do that. I have to check with my manager". The manager eventually came and gave us a hard time as well. $15 something was out new total. I asked if I could cancel the order. "Yes" was her response. So we did and went to another McDonald's. Upon arriving at the 2nd McDonald's we noticed that our points had been deducted even though we cancelled our order. Furious, I drove back to this location, went into the restaurant, asked for the manager, some guy came over, told me that I wouldn't be able to get my points back. I freaked out and the other female manager came to see me. "Oh you can get a meal from us now or a coupon". I nearly died at the incompetency and complete lack of professionalism.
