Came here last Saturday with my boyfriend and our daughter. We were thinking of a spot we could take her for dinner, plus games as it was her Birthday and wanted to spend some quality time together. We were torn between 2 places and I’m very happy with our decision to make it a QB night.
Upon arrival, we were greeted right away with a warm welcome. We chose to sit in the restaurant side of the store. We ordered our beverages and the Antojitos as an app. They were delicious. Our daughter loved them, and devoured 2 …which came to a complete shock to me as she does not like any type of spicy food. (not saying that they are spicy, but for a 6 year old, they definitely had a kick)
After we finished our app we had advised the women who was taking care of us that it was our daughter 6th birthday…. And boy did she make a stink about it! She brought her out a Birthday Care Package which included some toys, a QB t-shirt and a $10 game card. Our daughter was over the moon and felt incredibly special at this point.
We ordered our mains and asked for them not to be rushed as we wanted to get our game on! We purchased a $99 card which I believe was around 900 tokens for the games. We had a blast! The games were great and very fun!! We spent a solid 25 mins there before returning to eat our mains.
We sat down and ate our mains which consisted of a kids hotdog meal, and two different burger meals for both my boyfriend and myself. Both burgers were BIG, juicy, hot and very flavourful… the fries were house cut fires(I believe) which complimented and completed the burgers! Our daughter enjoyed her kids meal. I have to add that the portion size of the kids meal was great as well.
Went back and gamed for another 30 mins or so, then decided to come back and order desert. Our daughter was brought out a beautiful chocolate brownie sundae, topped with whipped cream. We ended up not ordering desert as she could not finish the whole thing herself.
I want to sincerely thank the woman who took care of us that night. You made our experience so very memorable, and made our daughter feel so incredibly special not only for her birthday but as human being. I would have to assume you own QB’s .. and If not…then WOW!! YOU ARE AMAZING! You deserve praise, as you were so sweet and genuine with all of your kind gestures!
If you haven’t been to QB’s… Go! 🔥 You turned first timers...

When I reserved I made it very clear that we would be arriving about a half hour later after the reservation time as I was trying to make it a surprise party for my son. Other guests would be there first and my understanding was they ordered drinks while they waited for us. Shortly after we arrived there was another group of our guests that arrived a bit late. These were 2 separate sides of the family that were excited to see each other and mingling to say hello. In the midst of this someone who worked there (I have no idea on the name or job title as I wasn't told) came up to me and started immediately telling me that everyone had to sit right away and start taking their orders because there was another party of 50 coming and the kitchen would be way too overwhelmed. I made it clear I understood but she continued while holding up her watch that my reservation was for 5 and that it's been "almost an hour" and no one ordered food and we were booked for x amount of time. Her tone of voice was extremely aggressive and rude and demeaning. Even my other guests were asking me what her problem was and were disgusted by her lack of customer service skills! I also asked when reserving about an area for my infants stroller by the tables, again I was told this wouldn't be an issue...well she made it an issue! She said this cannot stay here as it would block the way, a guest of mine suggested another area and she very quickly and rudely snapped back "I need to access that table." Her tone was awful! I had to bite my tongue many times.
As for our other servers...they were amazing and if it wasn't for them (and even the kitchen staff...one who so sweetly helped to repair our birthday cake!) I would have given this 1 star just because of how that one woman spoke. I'm not sure who she is but it seemed like she picked the wrong industry. To the REST of the staff: thank you! our 2 servers were so kind and patient...the kitchen...

QB sports is stuffed with power tripping employees (and owner) who like to bark orders at paying customers minding their own business. My friend and his girlfriend were leaning against each other at a table watching tv and a butch looking female security rudely interrupts demanding “there’s no sleeping here bylaw will fine us”. It was obvious nobody was sleeping - this female security was simply bored and needed to bark orders at younger customers to “feel powerful” about her sorry miserable self.I run a 5 star business myself and let me tell you- The day my employees approach paying customers the way this female approached my friends is the day that employee is fired, or the day I should get out of business. I don’t care the reason you give customers respect first of you’re looking for it in return. Golden rule right? My friends ended up leaving to not cause a scene- even though they were totally correct and this business was totally wrong. Now to the owner- he received the story from his miraculous employees, and without contacting or looking for the other side of the story from my friend- decided to jump to conclusions on what actually happened. Suggested this bar was not for my friend and he should go elsewhere. Based on the way these employees and owner are acting, this bar isn’t for anybody. And maybe everybody should go elsewhere. These are human beings you guys are dealing with, in case you have forgotten. Pretty ignorant stuff for somebody who serves the public. I’m not one to leave reviews often but these people are wild turkeys. Running a business is very hard. It’s even harder when you’re ignorant and rude to the people who pay your bills and fill your pockets. I would not recommend this bar to my worst enemy. It’s simple. Be respectful to people, and apologize when you’re wrong. You won’t have problems like this...
