Please do yourself a favour and do not come here.If you like your food cold, long waits, rude employees, and terrible customer service then this is the place for you. McDonald's should be a fast food restaurant yet it takes 20 minutes for 2 burgers which is ridiculous. Every time I show my platinum card I never really get the full discount because they have strict rules on which items you can get with the platinum card. It's clear to me they are very cheap.Heck they even charge for water which is a first. Every location I get the full discount but this location always lets me down. One white manager who was a girl with glasses told me in a rude voice "YOU CANT USE YOUR PLATINUM CARD FOR YOUR FRIENDS" when I bought mcflurries for my friends. Where does it say on our lounge you cannot use the discount code for your friends? The person that is using the platinum card must be present which was me so there shouldn't be a problem it's not like I was using a fake platinum card I just didn't know the rules of their location. She also threatened to take my platinum card which is very rude she has no right to do that. (Which is funny because she cannot take it since it's on our lounge). She clearly does not know the rules of the platinum card. I did not even know their rules so it's not even fair she tried to threaten me she could have nicely told me the discount is only on the meal and one dessert. Everytime I go to this McDonald's I am always left feeling disappointed or some sort of dissatisfaction. They have terrible customer service and don't know how to run a fast food restaurant fast and efficiently. Whoever is running this place needs to be fired. I will be reporting this location to the head office. One star is just too generous it should be zero. Hope they will hire people with...
Read moreThis is such a busy McDonald's that is located at Metrotown. Line up for ordering or picking up food is a must. If you come here on weekends, it will be worse. I don't recommend to order from McDonald's at this location if you are in a rush.
I was shopping at Metrotown on a Friday afternoon, the shopping mall was busy already. McDonald's was also very busy. I was not in rush, so I decided to order an iced coffee and fish and chips for takeout. Many customers were in front of me waiting for pickup (food). I ordered fish and chips, so it took McDonald's some time to fry the fish and give me the order. I had been waiting for quite a long time, but I did not count how many minutes. A lot of customers who ordered behind me also picked up their food already.
Finally I picked up my iced coffee and fish and chips. The iced coffee had no flavour of coffee as McDonald's put too much milk and it covered the coffee flavour unfortunately. I felt like I was milking a cup of milk but not an iced coffee. The fish and chips came with tartar sauce. They looked good and tasted okay. The fries at the bottom seems like they were soaked and not crispy at all. They were just barely cooked. I was very disappointed that fries played as an important role at McDonald's, but this branch did not even cook or fry the fries well. That's very sad!
Overall, based on the customer service and food quality, I could not give more than 2 stars. Will I come back here for food? Yes, maybe.... If I do, I will order their normal food such as Big Mac, chicken burger,...
Read moreMy husband and I have been customers of McDonald's restaurants as long as we are living. We are seniors now. We love to have 2 coffees on a daily basis and we love that tast. We also love the combo meals as well One thing is very disappointing about McDonald's visits now is that Macdonald use to offer a card to stick on it 7 stickers of our coffees, then we can have one free coffee for each completed card. Now Macdonald is using the points on the phone which we don't have. My husband someday is having 2 coffees a day. So I told him that he should save the cups since they don't have the cards and the stickers and to give 7 empty coffee cups to the front counter. Some McDonald's supervisors are accepting that and some aren't. Now, I would like to know how can McDonald's restaurants reward his loyal customers for their loyalty if they don't have a phone to collect the points. I believe that the cards and the stamps should come back. Points can be available to those who has phones too. I went to Macdonald on shell road in Richmond and a guy called Amendeep refused totaly to take 14 empty cups from me for 2 seniors coffees. I was very upset and disappointed. He called the supervisor on the phone and he was told not to take those empty cups from us. We are going to take our business elsewhere where we can be...
