For people reading the review i would suggest to avoid this store if you dont want bad customer service. You might be thinking that Starbucks has very good customer service everywhere but that is not the case and i found that out in a brutal way.
Summary of my experience
I had a very bad experience at this store of Starbucks. The staff was very impolite and rude. I arrived at the store in the morning of 26th June around 8 with my father. I stood in line for 10 mins and patiently waited for my turn. I just drifted 10cm from the lineup. Then the girl behind me knowingly or unknowingly skipped the line and went ahead of me. Then i told her that she skipped the line. The lady at the counter i believe her name was Nat served her before me and asked me to wait. I didnt complain or say anything. When i came to order she started to lecture me on etiquettes of being a line in a very rude manner in front of my father. She made no effort to find out whether i was in line or not and directly accused me of skipping the line. I felt very insulted in front of everyone and my father.
This is not the customer service that i expect from Starbucke I hope Starbucks take note of this and take action to correct this behaviour so other people are not insulted...
Read moreThe last few times, I have been happy with how they are making our drinks. And maybe it's the revolving door of staff, but lately this location is nailing their drinks just like their counterparts at Metrotown Food Court.
With this location, at Centrepoint, they have swag as in the tumblers and cups to be sold to the food and drinks. Whoever does the schedules, knows the times when they are busy and know when it's quiet. It's a juggling act, but, when we have gone there, our drinks are made quickly. And when it's super busy, out of nowhere, they come out to help!
Staff is polite. The person who helped us today, even read the order back to us to make sure! I don't think anyone else has ever done that! I think they should do that at all locations to prevent those scammers who try to score a free drink or food when they say they didn't get the right order. Read moreI am an UBER EAT delivery person. Upon arriving at the front desk of this establishment, I waited for over a minute without anyone addressing me. They just walked back and forth in front of me, completely ignoring me until I identified the order meant for me on my own. As I was inspecting the order to ensure it was indeed mine, a female staff interrupted her colleague's conversation and approached me, cautioning that the orders must be checked by the staff, and I shouldn't view orders without their confirmation. I gave 3 stars not because she reprimanded me - I understand that checking the order directly is not the standard procedure - but because I believe there's a management issue in this store and their customer service needs improvement.
