I regret spending almost $20 here.
I chose this place to try while on my 30 min lunch break because it looked like it could be fast and I wouldn’t have to wait long for my meal. Since I had to walk back to my work. Boy was I wrong.
After standing at the counter waiting to even be acknowledged for a few minutes because the staff was too busy messing around with an iPad.(red flag #1) I ordered the musubi bowl. Which they have to air fry the spam. Sure, cool a small 5-6 min wait. (Red flag #2) No problem. Well except they forgot about it and left me standing waiting for almost 25 minutes after I had already paid for my meal and they assured me it would only be a few minutes. By then they had completely forgot who I was and treated me like a brand new customer when I walked up and asked if I was getting my meal or if I could just have a refund because I had to leave.
I was beyond frustrated at this point because I walked over from my work and was now late to return back to my work. I returned to work late to the disappointment of my manager and narrowly avoided being written up because of it.
The staff were barely apologetic about just forgetting about my order and seemed confused that they somehow just forgot an order that they had placed behind them out of their view.
My food was cold when they handed it to me. I should have refused to take it and insisted they remake it but I didn’t have time to screw around arguing about it. I’m disappointed I had to even accept that for the ridiculous price tag I paid.
It’s sad when it’s your first time ever visiting somewhere and this is how you’re treated. I won’t ever be returning to waste my money again. I suggest that you do the same and take your...
Read moreThis came straight out of the bag took the photo, it looks like a joke but it was untouched (didnt eat or drink any of it yet) This cost $11. Listed as small, but it's half a size of a small coffee cup, it should be stated as snack size. You're better off buying something half the cost and triple the amount at tim hortons for chili, then paying $9 for this dinky baby size. $9 for 4 spoonfuls is sad, especially it coming in a massive paper bag, it was confusing, it was like they stapled it to hide the secondhand embarrassment. Also mind you it took half an hour to get this pre-made stuff. Yikes, bad everything. 👎 at least my coworkers and i know where not to go. BTW not all Steve poke is lame, the one in metrotown quality is good and ppl are productive and efficient there.
Service was very disappointing!
I placed my order online (Steve's Poke website) for pick up at the Brentwood mall location for 11:50 am. When I arrived there around noon, I was told that my order wasn't ready yet and will take 5 minutes. So I just stood there by the pick-up area...waiting. By the time they finished my order, it was 12:12 pm. That's 22 minutes pass my requested pick up time. As someone who works around the area, I placed my order online to save time as I only have 1 hour lunch break. This incident wasted half of my break time, which I'm obviously not happy about. When they finally handed me my order, they didn't even apologize for their delay and they didn't even say "thank you". So frustrating!!
I've seen previous Google reviews stating the same issue, so obviously, there are inefficiencies with how your staff handles online orders.
Your staff needs to do better because this kind of service - actually, the LACK of it - is simply not...
