barBURRITO — Restaurant in Calgary

I generally love BarBurrito, I choose it anytime I am in south Calgary. I recently learned one opened up at South Centre Mall- I made a detour to go to the food court and order my basic veggie bowl of rice, beans, lettuce etc... I have never ever been dished up such frugal portions, it was appalling! They gave me an ice cream size scoop of rice, so I asked for more and they gave me another half scoop. More than half of the base of my bowl was still showing! Normally fresh Mexican bowls have a decent base of rice. They slivered on the guac, like literally scrapped a butter size knife worth on it and charged me a dollar for one more portion. ( At other locations I have been impressed with the normal to generous amount of guac.) My meal cost over twelve dollars , please note there is NO meat and cheese on it, Just beans, rice, lettuce tomato and guac. Super basic. It felt like robbery. Do...

Today I was her for 1st time. I asked some information about the menu and I was informed that both the quesadillas and tacos come with chips and salsa. When I ordered I wanted some sour cream or burrito pink sauce inside my quesadilla, to which I was replied “ NO “ that I only get sour cream and salsa on the side. When I got at the cash I was told that this menu did not come with the chips. They are in a rush to serve costumer as fast as possible and forget to provide a good customer service experience as the 3 of them are just running to pass us a quick as possible, while they are chatting in there language between them (so not really paying attention to the client’s) The two ( Japanese I think) girl before me had questions about the menu as well, but they where also rush to the cash….. overall good quesadilla, But for me the service is what makes...
