New York Fries South Centre Mall — Restaurant in Calgary

Came here while I was doing some shopping at south center mall - it’s right near the bathrooms in the food court (the food court is quite nice btw with big windows and lots of good seating options) and I just wanted to write that I had a coupon from a fundraising charity that I had supported in the summer time I knew it wasn’t expired but I always worry a little bit to go somewhere and be like “Um you have to give me this for FREE” 🤣 but it was all legit and the cashier was super friendly she did not give me any trouble ! I bought the Cheese which is DELICIOUS separarte for a $1.58 - the free fries were massive and this shows support for war veterans through New York fries 🙏so it made me happy to know they are doing those kinds of things - the girl who served me appears to be named “Mary Rose” as it says on the receipt and the other girl there who was helping get the food was super friendly and quick too - I don’t eat this too often but the times I do I enjoy it so much !! Add salt if you like it a bit...

I've been coming to this location for over 15 years and the Southcentre team has always been amazing. I have celiac disease and the whole team (Especially Shabie and Mary) always remember me and are extra careful to ensure I never get sick. This is why I order from here many times a week. The staff are always friendly and efficient, you never have to wait long even if the line is around the corner. I can't speak highly enough of the Southcentre team. Went here with family around lunch and one of the hotdog buns had mold on it, we took it back to the counter and mentioned the mold, the lady who was working cash said that the expiration date wasn't till March 17th....which I don't know what idiot thinks that mold can't grow before expiry, but she was trying to basically tell us that it's fine and edible, I had to basically demand that a new hotdog be made with a non-moldy bun.
