Don't go in when "Saheel" is in. We usually get terrific service and great food from Blaze but tonight was different. We got in at 9:40PM after calling in to make sure it was okay for us to get some pizzas to go. We ordered as usual and at Blaze after your pizza comes out the oven you're supposed to be offered "finishes" which are a variety of sauces and glazes. Saheel was in charge of this process. Even though at this point it was still before 10:00PM, he angrily stuffed all of our pizzas into boxes without offering the finishes, clearly upset that he had to work a full shift. I kindly reminded him of the finishes and requested one on my pizza, with my two friends awaiting the same service. He snatched the pizza out of my hands and went to the back to put the glaze on without even asking the other two if they wanted any, and not even giving them the half a second to request for themselves. When he returned, my friend asked for a finish as well and before she even said what type he had literally snatched it out of her hands and took it to the back, having her shout the finish she requested out to him, and then basically threw the pizza back at her after drenching it in a puddle of hot sauce. The third person in our group got even worse service as Mr. Saheel decided to turn his back on her and go into the back before she could get her finish. Fortunately they had nicer staff there that helped us out with that. Listen sir, I'm sure you had a rough day, and we all wish we could get home sooner than usual from work. But if you wanted your store to close at 9:30PM, you should change your hours, not your service. And to management, we would hope to come back in again some day, but not if we can expect that kind of service...

Plenty of crust options, from high rise dough to vegan options, which is appreciated. Watch your pizza bake in the large pizza oven, and observe the pizzas dance as they are repositioned for even cooking. After the pie is pulled out of the oven, you have an assortment of tasty drizzles to... drizzle on top (ranch, buffalo, pesto, and balsamic to name a few). The price is $16 for the make your own (08/07/22), so probably not a good idea to let your 10 year old create a two topping pizza. And maybe see if the drizzles can be taste tested, as my 3 kids were not fans of the balsamic option, though it is delicious. Bottomless pop (Cherry Coke on tap!) and lemonade is always a plus, for us anyway. Dine in or take out (mobile ordering available) and then enjoy the beautiful community of Mission. Great little pizzeria. Though, they need to add dill pickles and ground beef to the topping selection! Read moreBecause of COVID-19, we ordered for pick up using the app. It didn't go through. We went to pick it up and had to start from scratch. My daughter wore a mask to protect the staff but could not be heard because the music was so loud, so they messed up the order. We ordered a gluten-free pizza and two regular pizzas, and they used the same pizza knife to cut the gluten-free, cross-contaminating it. I'm not severe, so no big deal but some people are severe, so they should watch that. Also NONE of the staff wore PPE, which made me feel gross. They wore plastic gloves, but you know it makes the wearer feel clean--it does not keep your food clean. But they were working side by side, no masks, nothing. There was a plexi-glass, which is something, but really--no PPE for the staff? It's not like you can wash down your pizza when you get home like you do with groceries.
